We have been staying here many years. The service and the quality is always the same. While it is not a five-star Resort, it is still our favorite place to stay when visiting Carmel Valley. The rooms are old style, many done in Knotty Pine. Quaint, charming and old fashioned, but the beds are good. Best of all, the staff...

We spent a quick weekend at Los Laureles for a wedding... really wish it was a longer stay. The rooms and lodge themselves are beautiful and historic, just outside the village itself. You could walk down to the shops and restaurants in the village, but Jack at the front desk recommended an Uber... its a small windy road with no...

We enjoyed a weekend stay at this historic country lodge in the scenic Carmel Valley. It is rustic but very clean and comfortable. The 70s style fixtures add to the charm! We were greeted by Ruth at reception, who is very personable and informative. She also managed the ample breakfast in the cozy lobby. It is a step above what...

Truly enjoyed our stay at this historic inn. Los Laureles offered a great package which included 2 nights at inn, dinner for 2 at their restaurant, dinner for 2 at Wills Fargo and five complimentary wine tastings for 2 @ Heller, Boekenoogen, Parsonage, Bernardus & Joullian.

We agree with the other reviews about the restaurant, building and good service. Here is additional information that others might find useful. A place you want to give SIX STARS to, not for its upscale luxury, but for its setting, restaurant, maintaining the historic character and its uniqueness in Carmel Valley and the Monterey area. BREAKFAST: Usually waffles, fresh fruit,...

I stayed at Los Laureles for a wedding in the valley. I could not have asked for a better location. Everything that I wanted/needed. Easy access to all the area attractions with a very helpful staff and a rustic vibe that made my stay perfect. The continental breakfast was perfect. And I highly recommend hanging out at the pool and...

We stayed for a night last week after having been there many times before, including coming to the restaurant whenever we were in town. In the morning our toilet backed up and we were not able to use it. My husband went to the front desk after both of us had to run to the bathroom in the registration building....

We stayed as a family of 4 in a room priced at $150 per night. The rooms are clean, but our room was really dark. We opened the front door to see well in the mornings. The breakfast was free and really nicely done. The pool is old-school and a great hang-out spot with others. One night there was a...

Stayed here many times and it always is full of good times. It's like taking a trip back in time! The rooms are lovely and quaint. The folks there make you feel at home and your stay always goes too fast. The pool is like a movie from the 50's. Palm trees and all. Food is great. Can't say anything...

These historic rooms are a throwback in time. You'll be surrounded by knotty pine. The rooms are not sound proof but comfortable, none the less. Adding a coffee maker to the room would be an improvement but instead, you can partake of the continental breakfast in the main lodge.
