Our hosts were very friendly - helpful with restaurant recommendations, rooms were very spacious, clean, grounds immaculately kept. The breakfast was very nice, many choices. We had a great time, brought our dog and will return many times. Highly recommended!!

The Carmel Country Inn was the ideal hotel in which to spend our last 3 nights in California. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the rooms were excellent and the breakfast extensive. The setting of the hotel, on the outskirts of Carmel shopping centre, made it accessible during both the day and the night - but don't forget the... More

We and our dog Josie were welcomed to a very clean and pet-loving Carmel Country Inn. The room was small but well appointed. The bathtub, shower and tile floor were all updated and sparkling clean. The king bed was great, they accommodated us with non-down pillows, and breakfast in the morning was healthy and plentiful. I would definitely stay here... More

This was our second visit and last time we stayed in a two bedroom one bath suite this time we stayed upstairs in a two bedroom and two bath suite and with our kids it was much more space and more quiet upstairs also. We brought our two dogs and we are always treated the best.I love this place and... More

We used to love getting away for the weekend in the Bay Area but seldom do it now that we have a dog. When we saw an article that said the Inn welcomes dogs, we thought we'd try it out and also try out Carmel Beach since we heard it was a great dog beach. We were upgraded to a... More

we spent 2 nights for our 20th anniversary. loved everything about the place, people and pets. our only regret was not bringing our dogs (big dogs so they would have had to fly with luggage). it was romantic and friendly, the two cats there were wonderful as well and really made us feel at home. the tub was amazing and... Booked this last minute for the New Year.. was a little pricey, probably due to the holiday..but so worth it. We brought our 6 month old puppy, and we couldn't have asked for a nicer stay. It was located so close to everything, and the service was great. I would stay again.

We were two couples traveling with one child and a dog. We had a 2 BR 2 BA suite. We were planning to stay only one night in Carmel, but decided to extend our stay. Unfortunately our suite was not available the extra night. The manager was great and was able to get a room for one of the couples... More

MaryKae and I have enjoyed the Queen Room for our past visits. This time we enjoyed the King Studio, and it is our new favorite. Our Borzoi, Lara, slept on her car blanket on the room's loveseat. The breakfast is delicious. The Staff could not be more courteous and accomodating. This is the best place to stay in Carmel.
