We stayed at the lodge across the street from the main Inn on Christmas weekend. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was clean and had the usual amenities with a small balcony that had a view (albeit distant) of the water. Close enough for a short walk to the center of town and a quick drive to...

This is a little gem in Carmel. Easy walking distance to many of the shops and restaurants. Great and safe location. Reasonably priced. We stayed in cottage 204 that had a full kitchen, fireplace, living area and bedroom. Keurig coffee maker in our room as well. Nice front porch for relaxing and view of the ocean. A breakfast basket was...

I stayed here with my boyfriend in December 2016 to celebrate an anniversary. We stayed in Room 123, so I don't know if the other rooms are this awesome, or if we just got lucky. First, we arrived at 1:00 when check in isn't until 3, and the receptionist got us in right away, no problems. Real keys to the...

My wife and I stayed a couple of nights. The hotel is perfectly located on Junipero Street three blocks above Ocean Avenue. Parked the car and walked everywhere. A plethora of wonderful restaurants and shops close by. 11 blocks to the beach. Nice six mile walk along the shore via Scenic Avenue. The rooms are very nicely appointed. We had...

We were visiting for a wedding and stayed at the Horizon Inn. The service was wonderful - very nice and attentive staff. We had an interior king room with a fireplace. It was very cozy and if we wanted to see the view, we could simply go outside and there was a spot at the end of the walkway with...

We upgraded easily from an average room to one with a balcony and view and loved our stay! It was quiet, had a hot tub, is easy walking distance to downtown Carmel, has good amenities in the room and it is now our favorite hotel in Carmel. We'll be back!

My husband and I stayed here for the last leg of our 10 day trip to SF/Napa/Carmel. This was a charming inn with a romantic vibe. We had room 114 - ocean view, private balcony, and fireplace. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a romantic getaway. It's close enough to all restaurants that you can park your car and...

This is a good value hotel for Carmel. Close enough to town to walk, with clean, good sized rooms. The staff were very good and the picnic basket breakfast in the morning was something a little different. Nice view of the bay from our balcony.

A modern, well-appointed property. We discovered it one morning on a walk to the "quiet side" of Carmel. Very accomodating main desk staff, lovely units, breakfast basket delivered to your door each morning, nice robes and room amenities. Hot tub for relaxing.
