My husband and I enjoyed our 25th anniversary stay for 3 nights. It was so spacious and romantic. We loved the fireplace and the breakfast delivered to the room each morning. The special touches were very much appreciated. Very comfortable bed and nice heat lamp in the bathroom. Convenient to town and parking was easily available in the private parking...

Location: good location, close to shops and restaurants Room/Bathroom: tiny room & bathroom, cupboard smelled like someone was storing salami in there Service: unfriendly; free daily wine & cheese was a joke (small selection of cheese with tiny pieces - better not to offer it at all); breakfast not suitable for a B&B (choice of hard boiled or soft boiled...

This is by far one of the best places to stay in any city. We went for our 20th anniversary. When we first arived we were welcomed at the front desk like we were one of the family. He gave us all the details of what was in the area to visit and asked if we had made reservations. When...

Had two rooms at the Vagabond from March 13 - March 15. Both rooms were charming and cozy. Our room had a kitchen which was well appointed. My twin 17 year old girls and their friend had a nice room which had a queen and a single - enough room for all of them. The Vagabond is very pretty and...

I stayed here in October 2012. Originally I intended to stay for two nights but the hotel was so relaxing I ended up staying for a third night. Carmel itself is a really slow paced quiet little town full of boutique shops, art gallerys and fine restaurants. The Vagabond's House fits in perfectly with this atmosphere. The rooms are really...

My husband and I stayed here in December 2011 for a short getaway. The inn was decorated for the holidays...oh so charming. It is just a couple blocks away from the main busy area in Carmel. Easy access to many restaurants. They had breakfast trays with coffee delivered to the door, which were tasty and hearty, even though they were...

The Vagabond is what all bed & breakfasts should aspire to be. It is comfy, spacious, intimate, welcoming and meticulously maintained. An elaborate breakfast was delivered to us in the morning which was a first time experience of the B&B's I've been to. We enjoyed our breakfast right by the fireplace! The Vagabond is what we remember Carmel for and...

My husband and I booked this place for our honeymoon and stayed in Room 11. It was just beautiful! We especially loved the gas fireplace, which we used every morning and evening, The big picture windows brought welcome sunlight into the room each morning and overlooked a beautifully manicured courtyard and fountain. The bedding was comfortable with lots of pillows...

So clean and charming. Can't recommend it highly enough for those that like little gems. Lots of good dining suggestions from the innkeepers. We really enjoyed having breakfast brought to the room. The ambiance and landscaping was captivating
