The Pine Inn is the first hotel built in Carmel. We loved it because it was comfortable and the location was great. Just a few blocks from the ocean. We were able to see the ocean from our room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You are on the Main Street of a fun town with lots of options...

Last minute, late checking. Grateful for the professional and efficient service. Lovely hotel. Bit pricey but worth it. Lonely downer is there was no elevators but it is the oldest hotel in town. Little bit of nostalgia. NICE.

I have a sales team of 38 reps. This was the best meeting location I have ever chosen for my meetings and I have been hosting these meetings for 6 years. I am used to putting the meetings on in Hilltons or Marriots and took a risk by choosing a non-chain hotel. The GM even worked with me in choosing...

We arrived late on 5th Sept following a very long drive from Yosemite. We found the hotel car park but the hotel was difficult to locate initially as it was late and dark and the hotel was in a courtyard. The lovely Inga checked us in and upgraded us to bigger rooms. We had no idea where we were until...

Pine Inn was charming from beginning to end. Surrounded by courtyards and Ocean avenue, it's the perfect launching point for the day. Our room was extremely small (as in there was about a foot of space from the end of the bed to the wall), but the breakfast room was quaint and surrounded by windows. It was like a room...

Great location in the heart of Carmel. It has the potential to be awesome if some money was put into it to upgrade and redecorate the guest rooms. Despite all this, there is a certain charm about the hotel, a quaintness.

Checked in and was told our room wasn't ready yet but we would be contacted by phone when it was. Returned 2 hours later to find room ready but no-one had bothered to phone us. Front desk gave impression we were lucky to be staying there...... Room nice and clean, well equipped but expected that for the price of the...

We were planning on staying in Carmel for two days, but one night at the atrocious Pine Inn was more than enough. We got there about 8:00 PM and the supposed free parking was already filled. We were told to find a spot on the street and that we would be okay until the morning when we would have to...

Good Morning, I want to respond to this guest for the benefit of all future guests. First and foremost, the bad odor was from a break in a sewer line that was discovered right around the time this guest checked in. We called for repairs the very next morning. Secondly, the Pine Inn has a bell person on duty all...

I realise Carmel by the sea is a unique spot but I can't stand hotels that act as if you should feel lucky to pay them to stay there. I booked months ago and could only get a small room with queen bed. No elevator to the Second floor and no air conditioning. When I asked if other rooms were...
