Charming place to stay. A block off of the beach. Great staff. Breakfast is good. Nice fire pit outside. Enjoyed our stay. Would go back again. It is a nice walk or short drive to all of the restaurants and shopping.

Just returned from a weekend stay at the Sandpiper. Our first time visit to the Inn turned out to be great for us. Cozy and quaint in every way, the Sandpiper is a perfect jumping-off point for exploring Carmel. Located in a beautiful little area, we had the feel of belonging amongst the other strollers as we checked out the...

We stayed here for 2 nights. We were allocated a room to the rear of the Inn. We had no view but the interior was very nice and comfortable especially the bed. On our first morning for breakfast we had fruit, quiche and a fruit croissant. On the second we only had the fruit and quiche. The lady serving breakfast...

We were lucky enough to spend one night here recently, and unlucky enough that it was only one night! The setting was perfect, the establishment something special. Our room overlooked the ocean, upstairs, though I'm sure you could not go wrong with any choice of room. Rooms were tastefully appointed and spotlessly clean. Afternoon tea on arrival was a welcome...

My wife and I have been coming to the Sandpiper Inn for the last six years. We love it. It is always beautiful, warm, and cozy. Each room has a distinct feel. The bed and breakfast is just steps away from the beach, very central but tucked away from the crowd. The breakfast quiches and croissants are delicious. It is...

I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Carmel. Reservations went smoothly, and when I had to move our check-in date by a day, the staff quickly changed my reservations, without a hitch. My husband and I arrived at the inn and we were given a quick tour of the place. We stayed at Room 15, one...

I love this beautiful little b&b!! We just stayed a second time, and I can't say enough about how beautifully restored and renovated it is. Cozy, warm rooms with extremely comfortable beds and private bathrooms. Crackling fireplaces and comfortable furniture in the common areas, lovely continental breakfast, and tea and cookies in the afternoon. Friendly, caring staff. Dynamite location just...

My husband and I first enjoyed stays at the Sandpiper and its wonderful proximity to the beach and charming neighborhood of homes a few times over a decade ago and stayed at other properties nearby for subsequent visits in more recent years. We decided to revisit the place for a last-minute stay this past summer. We didn't realize there was...

Felt like home from home. Enormous bedroom and bed in quite lane just off the beach. Location wise was great and we walked into the small town day and night for shopping and dinner. I got the impression everyone else took a cab! It is no more than a 15 minute walk. Arrival was a little tricky as we got...

My wife and I had a wonderful 3-night stay at the Sandpiper Inn in Carmel over the 4th of July 2013. The inn is located in a residential neighborhood about 3/4 mile from the town center. That was good because we walked it every day and it was good exercise for us. The inn itself is very nice inside. Our...
