This property has been very nicely upgraded since Quality Inn and current ownership took over. The hotel has been recently remodeled, with large rooms, good quality bed, nice linens and towels. The location is very, very quiet but with easy access off Hwy 1. Easy walk to the village and wonderful places to eat (read: Gayle's Bakery). Cleaning staff was...

My husband and I stayed here on a business trip in Capitola. I'm not really sure why the other reviews are so terrible, I felt that the hotel was just fine, not great or super fancy but for the price, it served its purpose, a nice, clean place to stay. The bed was comfortable, flat screen TV, microwave, fridge, and...

First, let me state that the front desk and breakfast staff were friendly, helpful and on point with their customer service. Its the housekeeping and general property condition that I would like to address. We stayed for two nights. When we checked in, I noticed that our room was surface clean with clean linens but overall it was worn and...

They covered the basics as promised but refused to honor the AARP discount they claim it's not accepted on Friday or Saturday gee that was when we were staying The swimming pool is heated but to small for lap swimming the hot breakfast is not served but in a converted suite in building one Yes I would recommend it but...

Had stayed in "Choice Hotels" several times before with no complaints so we chose this one; what a mistake! The towels appeared to have been worn thin; the noise from the street was very annoying and the "breakfast" was a bit different. Had never seen an "egg patty"; something yellow and placed next to the sausage, so it's an egg?...

Rooms: Clean and well appointed but a bit dark. Furnishings a bit mis-matched and worn. Clean which is my number one concern. Price: Given sea-side location expect price inflation, but at over $200 a night the price was too high. Location: Walking distance to good dining and a short drive to downtown Capitola makes this hotel a winner. Value: Fair...

My husband and I were visiting relatives in Soquel. The hotel was convenient and reasonably priced. The room was large, comfortable and quiet, and had a balcony. Breakfast was fine. We will stay here again.

I was a little nervous at first when I booked one of the cheaper places to stay in the area. But I was pleasantly surprised. There aren't a lot of frills here, but the bed is comfortable and the room was quiet and clean. I got a really good night's sleep. Stayed here for a wedding, so it was a...

I was staying here for a week while my daughter was at a camp nearby. There are no frills here, no real lobby or café on premises but plenty of stores, food nearby. It was clean and the bed was comfortable, it had a microwave and fridge (although not very cold). there is easy access to the rooms by anyone...

We had a lovely stay here! Rooms very comfortable and spacious. Lovely toiletries! The staff were very helpful. B'fast buffet was all that one could hope for! We had a lovely meal in a nearby Kebab place down by the harbour! Very inexpensive! And they kindly opened our wine at no cost! The staff were very helpful and attentive to...
