Twelve retirees, who are fishermen from the SF Bay Area SIRS region 2, recently stayed at the Quail Lodge for a 2 day fishing trip. Debbie and John are very gracious hosts who really care about their guests and their accommodations. The rooms are very clean, nicely decorated in a rustic woodsy atmosphere. The beds are very comfortable and the... More

This is a small motel (6 rooms) that has been completely renovated. We were so fortunate to get a room last minute on a Saturday night for under $100!!!!! My elderly parents stayed there and loved it. The rooms are so clean and fresh and the property is nice in general. I cannot say enough GREAT things about the couple... More

If you are near Lake Almanor or on your way to Lassen National Park, this is the place to stop. I got stuck behind a wild fire and through various happenstance, ended up here. They were fully booked but had one cancellation, which I gladly took. The couple that bought this place a year ago have done a beautiful job... More

We came because we needed a pet friendly place to stay, and were very pleasantly surprised at how nicely the owners have remodeled the place and added some nice amenities. The beds are new and bed coverings fresh and nice. The portable AC worked well, the only issue was not being able to fully close the blinds given the exhaust... More

We weren't planning on staying near Lake Almanor, we wanted to be closer to Quincy but most was sold out, but so happy that we were able to find the last room at this quaint little lodge. Deb was incredibly nice. She even called to let us know that our room would be available before the 3pm check-in. She made... More

We stayed at Quail Lodge for several nights and had a wonderful time. The rooms are beautiful, well equip, very clean and comfortable. I did not feel so good at the beginning of our trip (happens...) and Susan was very kind in helping me find a doctor. Our kids love the spacious place and ran around. We had a bone... More

We took advantage of the guided fishing adventure with the Quail Lodge in Canyondam and had a really nice relaxing weekend. The Quail Lodge is a converted motor hotel, the owners have done a wonderful job of renovating the lodge, it was really cute and charming with very clean rooms. One of the advantages of this adventure was that all... More
