From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. The reception staff went above and beyond to ensure a smooth check-in process and made us feel welcome from the very beginning. Throughout our stay, every interaction with the hotel team was met with genuine kindness and a willingness to assist. The attention to detail that the staff exhibited was truly remarkable. Our room was always impeccably cleaned and beautifully presented, making us feel like we were stepping into a sanctuary each time we returned. The housekeeping team deserves special recognition for their diligence and dedication in maintaining such high standards. We were also thoroughly impressed with the outstanding dining experiences at the hotel. The chefs' culinary skills and the waitstaff's attentiveness created an exquisite dining atmosphere. Each meal was a delight to our taste buds, and we appreciate the effort that went into crafting such memorable gastronomic moments. Beyond the physical aspects, what truly sets your hotel apart is the genuine care and personal touch that your staff provided. Whether it was offering insightful recommendations for local attractions or going out of their way to fulfill our requests, the level of service we received was exceptional. Please extend our heartfelt thanks to the entire team, including the concierge, housekeeping, restaurant staff, and anyone else who contributed to making our stay so extraordinary. We sincerely appreciate their hard work and dedication. Our time at the hotel exceeded our expectations in every way, and we will undoubtedly cherish the memories we made during our stay. The staff commitment to providing an outstanding guest experience is evident, and we look forward to returning in the future. Once again, thank you for making our stay truly remarkable. We wish you continued success and happiness in your endeavors.

We went during winter as it is the best season to visit Niseko but what makes our trip exceptionally memorable is this hotel that we can call our 'home' during our 5-night stay in December 2023.
The room is exceptionally comfortable and clean but what stands out is the superb hospitality and service from the hotel's team.
From the moment we checked in, the Front Office team was very welcoming (shout out to Kiel, Ryoka and the whole team) including the amiable and helpful hotel manager, Ms. Yolande (who took her time to welcome us and have a brief chat). Yolande even made sure to greet the guests every morning as we all walked to the restaurant for breakfast. It is the little things like this that make the difference. And thank you for all the tips and advice which was very very helpful..
During our stay, we were very comfortable and enjoyed the whole winter at Niseko's experience, especially returning to our cosy hotel and room after a long day exploring the small town. Thanks to the housekeeping team who always kept the room in the best condition (I think they make up the room a minimum of two times a day) - I didn't manage to get your names but your work is highly appreciated.
On top of that, we always look forward to going for breakfast every morning as the menu prepared is of excellent quality - serving the best produce from Hokkaido like snow king crab. The team at the restaurant deserves much praise. Shoutout to the team (Goong, Korn, Ploy, Nut, Riko and Kristina). Thank you for your warm hospitality and the little conversations we had.
I have lots of fond memories during my stay here and I look forward to coming back again real soon and seeing the familiar faces I've met on this trip.

This hotel experience is out of this world. Of course the hotel itself is flawless, the rooms are modern, large, and beautiful. The location can’t be beat, literally ski right up to the door and there’s a lift barely 25m away.
Make sure to check out Sushi Nagi - the chef and food is phenomenal but so is Sena! Sena is attentive to every need and often brings you what you want without even needing to ask. Her English is flawless and she has a super friendly personality. She would always greet me by name and say hi any time she saw me in the property! She noticed I was trying to learn Japanese and when she would interact with me she’d help teach me new words and phrases.
And get a massage from Emi! I did the Sakura Ritual and she is a master! She’s friendly and extremely talented, after all long day of skiing it’s exactly what you need to recover. She also went the extra mile with communication and helped me practice my Japanese during the massage (there was also plenty of quiet relaxation time).
This hotel is an amazing experience made even better by the wonderful people who work there.

Japanese people are known for their cleanliness but somehow the Ritz Carlton Reserve in Niseko was anything but clean. Their proportion of Japanese staff was very low and the majority of staff we saw from housekeeping to the manager appeared to be from Southeast Asia - this showed in the substandard cleaning standard. We were told our room should be cleaned daily which includes vacuuming the carpet, and there is daily turndown service when there's a light cleaning again. The public onsen should be cleaned daily too. However, there were the same biscuit crumbs over the carpet in the middle of the room for 2 days and the same garbage discarded in the public onsen for 3 days in a row. Clearly there is a general culture of being sloppy and negligent.
The sushi chef was also coughing and sneezing while handling raw fish without wearing a mask or washing his hands after he did so. Even the disposable napkins had disgusting stains on the packaging.
Many of the staff were not properly trained and required repeated prompts. We had to ask the valet/reception staff THREE TIMES to switch off our car because we were still having breakfast and not ready to leave yet - they just kept our car engine running for over half an hour. Breakfast orders were repeatedly wrong. All the key cards they gave us on checking in did not work and had to be redone... Then 3 days later all the cards did not work again - the reception told us the cards "expired"?! Two separate staff who checked us in and showed us around were clueless we already had a booking in the hotel restaurant and kept giving us instructions to book it. Even the in-house ski rental staff wrongly told us the Niseko Village - Hirafu pass was open and we got tricked into paying for the All Mountain Pass. When we complained the manager just said the ski rental is third party and not their problem.
Overall, definitely not up to any luxury hotel standard and an embarrassment to the Ritz Carlton brand. Definitely better off staying at Park Hyatt instead.

We truly had high hopes for our stay here. However, as time went on, we found ourselves increasingly making excuses for the hotel's shortcomings, perhaps in an attempt to justify the considerable expense of our reservation.
To their credit, the hotel's concierge service efficiently arranged transportation from CTS and secured dining reservations for us.
Arriving late at the hotel around 11:00 PM, the check-in process left much to be desired. We were swiftly handed our keycards, directed to the elevator, and left to fend for ourselves.
Room and overall decor felt like the designers put in every attempt to cover up a building that was destined to be more of a Courtyard Marriott rather than a Ritz Reserve. A very valiant attempt, but several parts of the guestrooms lacked functionality and just lacked cohesive flow
The dining experience was inconsistent. We enjoyed an exceptional lunch, ranking among the best we've had in Japan, only to be sorely disappointed by a subsequent dinner service at the same restaurant.
Take my advice and stay at the Park Hyatt across town. You won't regret it.

It's summer in Niseko again. Niseko is really comfortable in summer. I stayed here for two nights to go to Goryokaku in Hakodate.
The problem was hotel dining, but on the first day we had pizza and pasta at Park Hyatt Niseko Italian. The problem was dinner at the Ritz on the second day, but we opted for in-room dining.
There's a wide variety, and it was better than in-room dining at the Ritz in Osaka. Soup Curry, Soba, Cheeseburger
The soup curry was pretty good, and the soba was still good with wheat, so the aroma and texture were delicious for the summer season. The hamburgers are meaty, so they were good for foreigners, but the accompanying potatoes are excellent. It's a place called Potato Kingdom.
However, as expected, the quality of the food at Park Hyatt Niseko is high, so I would like to see more innovations, but the size of the accommodations is different, so it may be that difficult to ask.

The moment I left my car and entered the lobby, the view I saw was amazing. I was able to relax very much just by enjoying the wonderful view, gazing at the fire in the fireplace and having a welcome drink. The person who showed me to my room was very polite and clear. I was overwhelmed by the view of Mt. Yotei from the window of my room. The Sothys amenities were gentle on my skin, and I purchased some cosmetics at the spa before returning. The large public bath was very clean and the cleaning staff were very friendly, making me want to go in again and again. Although it was quite far from the airport, I would definitely like to visit again.

Great winter holiday destination hotel in Niseko. The hotel is new and I just spent 2 nights with my family in Ritz Carlton Reserve in a snowy days in Niseko. The place is cozy and onsen is outstanding. It is also easy to get access to ski and ski equipments are classy. One bed room suite with twin bed room connecting is truely large for family. Thanks for receptionist Yuika. Highly recommended for holiday maker.

one of the resort that only sent me decorated towels on my birthday, I am very spoiled by 5 star resort, I got shocked and disappointed that I only gotten folded towels.
the best thing in this property is the skin in and out. they carried your goods.
breakfast was priced 7500 yen. ridiculous. and you only can pick 1 type of food which is two eggs. we need fuel for the ski.
the fnb are so boring, the sushi is good but expensive and really not worth the price.
they have hotel courtesy car, but they cant drive you around, they told you to wait in the bus stop and drag your luggage when you want to move hotels.
sad.
we stayed in a fee properties during our 15 nights stay. this one is the most horrible and expensive.
advice go stay at the park hyatt and read my review for park hyatt.

This is an example of when Marriott’s development team sign deals for the sake of growth. At best this hotel could be a Sheraton. Design of public areas clearly value engineered by the owners. No soul or energy. Furniture and overall design feels cheap. Had lunch in the restaurant. Staff had no clue and lacked training. Had to chase for service. Food was fine, but nothing special. Tables were left uncleared. Had to chase for wine service. Not in any way a luxury, service driven experience. No recognition or thank you when we left. Staff were too busy running around and there was no Manager. I would not recommend this hotel as a luxury experience. It’s a Marriott Ritz-Carlton.
