This is by far my favourite hotel in Bhutan. The rooms are big and modern and the view...really cannot beat that anywhere. My only problem was that we were out of electricity for a couple of hours on my first day of check in and no cable connection. But these were small issues that were quickly resolved in a couple...

Khangkhu Resort is a resort full of staircase as this resort is built on hill side and on different level. There is a problem walking to the dinning area and lobby when it is raining and during a power failure when darkness fall. Make sure when you check into the room , find out where is the emergency light, so...

We moved to this hotel having checked out without staying at the Gangtey Palace ( horrendous!). The hotel is still been constructed, the room are modern with amazing views. Yes I could pick faults with the hotel but you have to remember this is Bhutan. For this grade I think the Khangkhu Resort is a great choice to stay in...

Rooms were large, comfortable and clean. Rooms were built on a hill and offered great views of Paro airport, Paro and the dzong. Staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant served traditional Bhutanese cuisine, buffet style. We particularly enjoyed the pasta which was cooked fresh each night. WIFI was very limited in the rooms.

Good for it's large room and fantastic view of the Paro Valley and airport just outside the hotel room. The houses are on different levels on a hill so expect some climbing to the rooms from the lobby and restaurant. It's a trade off for the good view. Facilities are basic. Even though Wi-Fi was provided, the room did not...

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was the best of our one-week visit to Bhutan. The view from the room was great! The room itself was very comfortable, and it was VERY quiet (we're light sleepers and we really appreciated this as this is one of the most important things to us). Food was very good as well. It...

The rooms are very large, wooden floored and the heaters (including one in the bathroom) work beautifully. The view is lovely. They have a great sit out in each room, but because it is so cold, you're very unlikely to be spending a lot of time in it. The toiletries are good, towels thick and, in all, they have taken...

Khangkhu Resort provides best view of Paro Valley along with Rimpung Dzong,National Museum and Airport. Located 2 kilometers (1 mile) from downtown Paro and 4 kilometers (4 miles) away from Paro International airport. The resort is perched on the mountain slopes above the airport and opposite the important Paro Dzong and historical Taa Dzong, the national museum. This location therefore...

The good: EXCELLENT service. Close to the airport. Large rooms (if this is something you need). Hot water. The strange (not negative, just bizarre): Signs in the rooms asking guests to leave valuables with the front office (for which you would get a receipt in return), and other signs warning you that a) the hotel will not be held liable...
