This "Hotel" is nothing more than a cheap motel. If all you're after is a free, awful breakfast and cheap, shabby furniture this place is for you. First, it's not part of a chain. Again, it's a motel. It even has the former motel owner sign still on the entry door. There are no microwaves in the rooms, or laundry... More

There are not many choices in Campbell but I was very impressed with the Bristol. The price was very affordable for that area. the hotel was clean and the rooms very nice. The staff was very cordial and the breakfast was adequate. The decor is a little strange making one feel that they are in an old European hotel in... More

This hotel, was a wonderful surprise. It is elegant, without pretension. Free wifi (no password needed) and a free full breakfast buffet. Unusual attention, to detail, where you wouldn't expected it. Chandelier in our toilet room, glass glassware instead of plastic and porcelain soap dishes. Also beveled mirrors in closets, dovetailed Thomasville furniture etc; Our bed was very comfortable. The... More

My colleague booked this place whilst on a business trip in SJ. It's located only 15mins drive to down town area. I have to admit the hotel has a rather strange and abstract decor. It's faux European decoration with marble, naked statues, German flags, terribly paintings is not my taste but for the reasonable price I shouldn't complain. The service... More

Stayed enroute to our destination. Exceptionally clean hotel, quiet rooms even on street level, very comfortable bed and a nice breakfast selection. The decor is certainly interesting! Compared to other hotels in this area, it was a good value.

For the price, this hotel is not worth it. We stayed in a room with one king bed. The bed creaked with each movement and clearly needed to be replaced. The toilet seat was worn out and Ho it was probably clean it was stained and awful looking. On a positive note with a few small improvements this hotel could... More

I really would have given them a higher rating if it wasn't for the fact that housekeeping forgot to close and lock my room after they cleaned it. I came back from a day out to find my door open and wondering if someone was in my room or if my things were gone. That shouldn't happen in a hotel... More

The room was large, spotlessly clean (as was the entire hotel and grounds), and quiet - even though mine was on the ground floor and faced Bascom Ave. There is a full breakfast included. Best of all, it was priced below government per diem. Based on staying in comparably priced hotels the last 3-4 years in San Jose, I can... More

Hope I don't send a slew of people there and drive prices up. This little place is great for the person who is "one their own dime." The styling is a bit old-fashioned...no, it is very old fashioned, but it is not an old property. In short, it is clean, with large rooms, very large bathrooms with tons of counter... More
