Just noticed others have complained about ants, short bed, no tv, and problems with the internet. Keep in mind these things have little to do with a good stay and comfortable night for most. They are more about wanting things not advertised or phobias to insects! Why do you need wifi internet with the good cellular service in the area?...

This is a cute little b&b in a beautiful Victorian house steeped in history. It is traditionally but stylishly decorated with not to much 'old granny' style but just enough. Very comfortable bed and nice ensuite shower. The staff, who I believe are all new owners, were adorably friendly and helpful with big hugs all round. We live Cambria and...

Although we did not stay here we attended a wedding that was held in the new "barn" that is owned by the same person and is right next door to the Squibb House. We were in the facility most of the time we were in Cambria except for sleeping at our place -- which was not nearly as nice. The...

A small independent shop adjacent to a bed & breakfast off the main road in Cambria. A well-maintained shop with some nice pieces. Bought a metal bucket with an illustrated label at a reasonable price.

My husband and I have been staying at The Squibb House for years and have always enjoyed our stay. The location in town is perfect for walking around for shopping and dinner. The continental breakfasts have a lot of variety and are large. Some people might not like fact that breakfast is delivered to your door and is not served...

I just visited the Squibb House and I'm on crutches with a bad knee. The owner gave me his personal Tex # just in case I needed help on any kind. Now that's what I call going above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you for your consideration

This place exists on its old reputation. It needs a lot of money spending to get it up together. We were in the Parlour room, the mattress was too short for the bed so a bolster was stuck across the top. No interaction with other guests. Very impersonal and cold. It was very clean although tired looking. The owners need...

We booked very last minute and got a room upstairs. Upon arrival place looked very cute. Just so you know there is no Tv in the room. 1st problem. We were told there was internet and given a password. Got to the room and it didn’t work. Called the owner and he said try this password did so and didn’t...

My wife and I decided to take a weekend off and I was in charge of the logistics this time. I love how quiet Cambria is, and quiet was needed for us both, so I decided on the Squibb House. It was perfect for our needs. It was very quiet in the B&B our entire stay, and the breakfast options...

I have been meaning to write this review for some time as I loved this place so much the first time that I took my Mum and cousin back there last summer and it was one of they favourite places that we stayed in our tour of the coast. Granted, if you want five star, hilton style accommodation then this...
