This is probably one of the nicest motel rooms my husband and I have stayed in. It was clean, the bed was very comfortable. The room was very nicely designed. The bathroom was a little on the small side, however the fixtures were nice and...More

My husband was stationed at the Presidio upon returning from Vietnam. He served as an MP and participated in many funerals of soldiers who didn't make it back alive. We want to make a trip to the Presidio in the fall. Are there resonable hotels close by?

Do you mean the Presidio in San Francisco? There are plenty of hotels there to stay at. There are also plenty to choose from in Monterey, if that is the Presidio you are speaking of.
