This was our second visit. The hotel is located at the end of the "strip" but close enough to walk to everything. There's a small indoor heated pool and two outside pools. The staff are very responsive if any problems occur. Spa is great but they don't have facilities for couples.

I visited this resort in early January 2017 for my 60th birthday. I had been here before about 25 years ago. First off let me say that the employees both in the front office and in the spa area were very friendly and I appreciated that. The room was clean and by paying a little extra I was able to...

This was one of the worst hotel stays of my life. Despite the Hotel.com discount, this room were way over-priced considering how small, old, dreary and depressing the cement-walled room was. The heater was smelly, only worked sometimes and made loud rattles even after it was turned off. There was mold on the shower floor. The reason for our stay...

The service was amazing, great value, and the hot spring was wonderful! From check-in, the staff member was hilarious, warm and welcoming. It is a small family-run hotel (not run by a giant corporation). The rooms were quaint, clean, old-fashioned looking and had great amenities. WiFi password was provided at check-in, and parking was free. We were allowed to park...

A CA trip of NAPA with my daughter started at Dr. Wilkinson's Hot Springs Resort. We wanted a spa with our accomodations and something affordable. We also wanted to start in Calistoga and end up in Yountville. The rooms were very comfortable, quiet and like being transported back in time. In the evening we were able to walk through the...

Bath house hours show opening 8:30am. I called to book mud treatment w/massage for a weekday appointment & was informed that ONLY available opening was in afternoon with no earlier appointments available and no massage available. Upon arriving at 1:30pm, I found that I was the 1st appointment of the day & massage therapists unable to provide massage due to...

The mineral pools are at different temperatures so its easy to find the perfect temperature to inspire relaxation. Despite our do not disturb sign , the overzealous maids began vaccuming the room above us at 9:30 am. Considering their were only 5 cars in the lot the previous night;staff should have been more aware. pools are small.In-room shower had poor waterpressure. located close to the center of town it's a short walk to do your dining and shopping...

ChefCraigoSF, Thank you for the review. Apologies for the disturbance by housekeeping! Most of our guests enjoy our pools, of which we have three. Your comments are well taken and appreciated. We've been family owned and operated since 1952 ( aged?) and our buildings are frequently admired for the true, mid-century modern look that we have preserved. Thank you for...

The hotel has been upgraded in terms of decor. Beds are very comfortable. Spa services are great and affordable. Nice places to eat within walking distance. Perfect stress relief or a one night stay. This is a very pretty area and an easy drive from SF or Oakland.

Dr. Wilkinson's fits in with the whole retro vibe of the entire town. Calistoga has a very 1950's feel, and the hotel does as well. The hotel is located towards the end of the main street in town, so it's easy to walk into downtown for dinner or shopping. Everything is immaculate; the staff are incredibly helpful. There are 3...
