We loved our stay at the Craftsman B&B. Our room was lovely, the bed divine, and the jacuzzi tub was fabulous. All their decor throughout the house and in the rooms is fantastic. We appreciated all the sweet touches.... fresh cookies in a jar in our room, a decantour of sherry with cute sherry glasses, nice robes, great sheets and...

I had the pleasure of staying at the Craftsman thanks to a generous boss and it was a great gift to stay there while in the area. Gillian's breakfast of fresh made granolas and scones (incredible and I am now a convert to the church of scone thanks to Gillian) just to start the day. The personal touches are truly...

We completely enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to return as soon as possible. The Inn is beautiful, clean, spacious and well maintained. Our room was so comfortable, warm and inviting we could not wait to get back to it after wine tasting and exploring downtown Calistoga. Gillian and Nick are wonderful people, experienced Inn Keepers and gracious hosts. It...

The reservation was initially for one person at Gillian's other B&B The Wine Way inn. That was before I decided to come along. Since we are just friends we did not want to share a bed. We got an email from Nick that we were upgraded to a room at the Craftsman B&B. Didn't know whether or not that was...

The Craftsman Inn in Calistoga is perfectly situated at the northend of the town with perfect walking access to restaurants, great shopping, bars, and spas. The inn itself has been restored beautifully in the Craftsman tradition and also has a European feel. An old style staircase covered in plush carpet leads to spacious and comfortable bedrooms. There is also an...

My family booked a pair of adjacent rooms for a celebration. The rooms are rather small, but comfortable and squeaky clean. The rooms have small TVs with DVD player, and a CD player. The common sitting area is welcoming with a current newspaper, games, complimentary sherry, homemade scones and chocolate. The host couple, Gillian and Nick are from England. Nick...

stayed at the craftsman inn, and didnt spend much time there, being in around all those wineries, but while there it was very nice, and Gillian was the most exceptional hostess, the breakfasts were out of this world, especially the baked french toast!!!!!!!!!!!to die for...... the rooms were very clean and quiet for being on a main street. and she...

All B&B's serve breakfasts, but this one serves an utterly distinctive offering each morning. The owner is English, but very astute to the subtleties to making fine food (she also knows her wines and is a fountain of information about Napa restaurants). Each breakfast exceeds your expectations and will rival any breakfast offering at the finest of hotels. Her son...

Thanks for the nice review, really glad you enjoyed your stay. We agree with your comments on the TVs. They were state of the art when we bought them in 2007. Just four years on and technology is at a different level. We were planning to buy new ones over the winter and your comments prompted us to get on...

We stayed here last June and had a lovely stay. We were arriving from Yosemite so we got in a bit late so Gillian wasn't there. She left a helpful note for us to show ourselves in and no one else was in that night so we happen to have the whole place to ourselves - what a treat. We...

This is a superb little B&B. Gillian is a first rate cook - breakfast is spectacular. She is also very helpful with things to do in the area. Rooms are nice, clean, and comfy. Great location at the upper end of the valley.
