As a Diamond member and being handicapped, I was amazed at our poor experience at this property. I booked and had a confirmation for a king mobility access room. Before arrival, I received an e-mail informing me that I was booked in a hearing access room. I called and explained the problem to the front desk clerk who was less than customer service oriented during our conversation. She said that she would call me back and she did. She told me that she would change it to a 2 queen bed accessible room and assured me that I had booked a queen room. I told her that I had the printed confirmation in my hand for the king accessible room . Upon check in, a different clerk told me that the king mobility rooms were being renovated. Surely this could have been communicated to me before arrival and I would have booked elsewhere. The assigned room did not have a closet or anywhere to hang our clothes, the TV had no signal, the bed was so high that my husband had to help me to get into it, the bathroom door squeaked, there was a strong, unpleasant odor and there was noise from machinery outside the window . A total disaster of a stay.

Stayed one night on our way from LAX to Santa Barbara. Checked in with the app, got in late and went straight to our room on first floor. Easy parking, friendly front desk. Slept like a rock, room was super quiet, clean, and cozy. Breakfast was really good! There is a paper form on one of the tables in the morning for you to fill in what you want. When it’s ready they will call your room to let you know. All food is to-go for now to keep social distancing in common areas. I got the breakfast burrito and split it with my daughter. It was big and delicious. Appears they are quite literally just now finishing up last touches of a brand new remodel. Great hotel, pretty location. We look forward to coming back.

This hotel looks amazing! New everything. Fresh and clean and beautiful. I had an amazing experience at this hotel. As always the staff was extremely polite and helpful. We checked in late and were given a goody bag to make our stay even more delightful.

We have stayed here many times over the past six years and enjoyed our stay and convenience to restaurants, etc. Had to make a trip and was cautious during covid but thought this hotel would be safe. We were never informed that the hotel was under construction! We feel very unsafe here with so many workers around and covid. When I talked to the receptionist about our concerns she said it was on their website but I looked and there is no mention of construction.

The front-desk staff was extremely friendly, patient, and understanding. Salena, in particular, was extremely helpful. I’d highly recommend staying at the hotel on account of the front-desk staff alone.
