I so wanted to give advice to these owners as they are nice but don't seem to understand how to run a hotel. So many simple things could be nicer and cleaner. Most people I know would not have stayed at this hotel, I'm not as picky. The bed was clean but the shower door was not. Towels are old,...

I made reservations in advance based upon the 3.5 star rating. I showed up today and the room had FILTHY carpet, the towels in the bathroom looked like they were rags that had been used to clean the feet of an elephant. The beds were probably near as old as I am. The internet was @ 7 Megs, though. I...

I'd avoid this place unless there are no other hotels with vacancies or you need to save the $15 required to get a nicer room in Burney. Rundown, funky and not too clean. On the plus side good internet, safe, easy parking and cheap.

When we arrived in Burney, we stopped at each motel along the main street to check prices and room quality. All are old-fashioned motels with small, simply furnished rooms, and prices began at $75 and went to $99. We drove on through town, saw the Sleepy Hollow Lodge and stopped. The rooms were neither better nor worse than what we...

I was working out of town in my search for a room I found a small motel They also had the best rates. The room has a microwave , coffee maker, fridge cable and wifi. It was very quiet I never got woke up one night in two weeks..

After checking the other motel rooms in Burney. This one has the best rates and nicest managers we found. It is a small 10 room motel so calling in early to check for vacancy is recommended. It's under new management and we found them to be very kind, polite and full of knowledge about where the best places to eat...

We stayed at this motel earlier this week, due to an unexpected emergency. The office was dark, dirty, and smelly. The floor in the motel room was covered with dead bugs, as if they had set off a bug bomb earlier. Unfortunately, all of the bugs were not dead, and I got flea bites. No phone, no tissue, no hair...

I'm in general a low budget traveler and have stayed in a ton of motels with a pretty high tolerance. And this was by far the worst place ever. We reached there late on 4th July and checked in pretty late i.e. post 10 pm. There was probably just one other car parked in front of the motel. eerie! We...

How this place receives 4 or 5 star reviews is very questionable.. or my family got stuck in the worst room of the motel. First - the good - the lady that checked me in was very warm and welcoming. She brought her infant son out and was so proud of the cute little guy. She seemed sincere and very...

I agree with Sonomatraveler, you really have to wonder about these faceless reviews. I've been to this hotel many times, its the only place I stay at in Burney and everytime I receive a warm welcome and wonderful service. I further agree that the lady that runs the place is a real delight. I only wish I had more time...
