Booked up a stay in the motel's motorhome accommodation only a few hours before I arrived. Found them to offer the best price at short notice. I arrived fairly late and the owner/manager was pretty welcoming and friendly. Showed me to my van which wasn't nearly as small as I expected and very adequate for me on my own. the...

We paid $130 Australian for our room and I feel it should have been about $80. The wifi was good and the beds were ok, we were able to park our big hire car outside our room and the car spot was big enough... the room was nice and warm it was minus 5 (22 fahrenheit i believe) outside and...

My wife and I spent three nights at this motel. We decided this would be a good point from which to explore Bodie and Mono Lake and the surrounding foothills. Logistically speaking, this motel and Bridgeport are excellent. But that's about where it ends. I had never been to this motel, so I just went by what I read on...

The Redwood Motel is a fine place to stay. This was our second time. We go to Bridgeport to birdwatch. We arrived about 3pm and our room wasn't ready, due to a late checkout. The manager made sure the the maid did our room immediately. We sat in the gazebo and watched the approaching thunderstorm. The bucking horse is a...

Stayed here several weeks ago and while I did/do enjoy the rest and overall features the rates need to be $15-$20 Less than rates charged. I have stayed here before and at other locations within Bridgeport and paid more and LESS! This Motel is located at the edge of town and is very old. The place is well run and...

This 50's era motel has updated to the 70's (maybe) while charging prices appropriate for 2030. I suppose the price excuse is that it is 30 or so miles from the east entrance to Yosemite but you will feel ripped off nonetheless. Ok, to be positive, it did add wifi and a newer TV although the TV was not entirely...

We got the last non smoking room in town that would fit our family of four. It was just a stop along the way, so it was perfectly adequate. It reminded me of my grandmother's house; very clean, but nothing has changed in 30 years! The website says free breakfast, but don't be misled... there is a box of plastic...

Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, due to a late checkout, so we sat in the gazebo watching a thunderstorm. There is a bucking bronco sculpture on a swivel that acts as a weather vane, and he was swinging! Comfy bed. Clean,

We reserved a trailer. The venetian blinds were broken, the beds were broken, the carpet was dirty, and the teeny tiny bathroom was stained. The proprietor was also extremely rude. This would be fine if it was budget, but it was $150! There are several cute old hotels up the road, and others in towns beyond. Don't stay here!!

Just stayed the night. Clean and neat queen bed room. The clerk was friendly and very helpful with suggestions for all meals. The outside of the hotel is decorated with funky statuary, which gives it a 50's motel look. It was fun to walk around and check it all out. There was no pool or spa, I didn't miss them....

Redwood Motel is a clean, quiet, and comfortable motel with friendly staff. We are nestled in the high sierra, north-end of Bridgeport, and at the corner of Twin Lakes Road and Main Street. Our non-smoking rooms (some allowing pets) include a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee-maker, air-conditioning, Directv on flat-screen TV's, and free internet access. Guests enjoy the BBQ access in the common area and relaxing in our gazebo. Fisher-people appreciate the fish cleaning center and the ability to store and/or freeze their catch with the supplies and freezer provided. We are pet-friendly (as Lucas, the Owners dog, could express) but also set-aside rooms that have never allowed pets for those with allergies.
