It was a great experience but the owners really need to replace ALL 3 MATTRESSES in #14, my back is still hurting bad, the springs are completely gone, this is a REAL HEALTH HAZARD not just an aesthetic thing. The bathroom etc was nice and Mike is a wonderful person. I loved the setting and the 50s/ 60s vibe but...

We just got back from a quick trip out to Anza Borrego to see the wildflowers. They were spectacular. The is a historic 20-year bloom, after our frequent winter rains. I just lucked out and got a last-minute cancellation for a duplex at the Hacienda del Sol. This place is close to the Anza Borrego Visitor's Center. They provide adaily...

We only met one staff member & he was nice & helpful. We stayed in a motel room. It was a big enough room, but everything looked very worn & could use a deep clean. The bathroom was small with a tiny shower. No microwave or refrig. but there was a cooler for our use & a coffeemaker. The pillows...

Let me start by saying the managers Mike and Cathy are fabulous! They were nothing but helpful with information about where to eat and what to see! The rooms are retro, as the hotel was built in the '50s, but they are huge! We stayed in a duplex and had more than enough room for my husband and I and...

Duplex 14 had a broken front door, badly worn carpets, horrible smell, chipped and broken old furniture, threadbare cushions, plastic mattress cover that made for sweaty sleep, broken lamp shade, unfunctioning window locks, tinfoil for an outdoor light scone and bent up blinds. All of that for $135 per night. There were more problems but you get the idea. Maid...

This hotel is the perfect budget htel for your stay in Borrego Springs: well-priced, great location, clean, comfortable, and proprietor Mike, accommodating. The hotel is adjacent to the Market and right across the street from "The Mall," for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I spoke to Mike about my arrival needs, and he met them perfectly. he also had suggestions for...

We have spent 4 nights in a cottage at the Hacienda, and have loved it! It isn't the newest facility, or very fancy, but the ground are very natural. Sitting out on our patio allows enjoyment of the desert views, especially since this is a low light community at night. The office here offers information about what's to do in...

The rooms are clean and good size, but the mattress can be improved! Otherwise, neat. The office has a big collection of DVDs that you can borrow and watch in your room, and some magazines to browse. It is a cozy place. The rest, as any motel in the US. Very close to 'downtown' Borrego Springs, though it is difficult...

A desert oasis located in the heart of Borrego Springs (the mall is directly across the street!) A leftover from the 60's, there are a few standard motel rooms that are not terribly interesting. However, there are a number of three room duplexes and single stand alone suites scattered throughout the complex, surrounded by desert landscape and plants. The duplexes...

For us, this layed back charming place is exactly what we want in the desert. The grounds, the pool and the whole atmosphere is so natural for us that no matter what we have looked at in Borrego Springs - this is unique. Is it the most up to date, fashionable place - no, but there is something that draws...
