I understand that Bodega Bay is a great destination for Bay Area residents, but this place is dated and quite frankly, over priced. It a great location, but the value is missing. They also post the pool is heated, that was questionable as well.

It was only after booking that I found the reference to 'The Birds' and it is true that there is a lot of mentions of the filming of the iconic movie in the area. There is so much more to this whole area than a movie set although it is easy to see why the location was used. It is...

We stayed in room 707 - the entrance area to the room was strewn with bags of dirty laundry, garbage bags, and other stuff to the point where we had to walk around the obstacles to enter (later cleaned up by staff). The electronic door lock failed to operate and had to be repeated 5-6 times to gain entry. Once...

This was Alfred Hitchcock's Favorite Hotel when he was in the area and it is understandable why. The view of the bay is magnificent and the rooms are warm and cozy. We had a room with a fireplace, supplied with wood to burn. Romantic and worth the cost.

I had spent a birthday with a girl friend at the Inn at the Tides about a decade ago, and always thought it would be a romantic spot to take someone in the future. So for my 2nd anniversary, my husband and I decided to go for a night and weren't disappointed! The view from every room is simply beautiful,...

Inn at the Tides is a comfortable place to completely enjoy Bodega Bay. We spent 3 days/nights as part of their "Stay Awhile" package and we were very satisfied. The package came with hot breakfast and quality dinners. The view from the room and the deck is one of the most relaxing vacation features - especially with a view of...

This is a romantic spot overlooking Bodega Bay. The rooms are a good size and have a fireplace that is supplied with 2 logs and a bottle of white wine which made for a relaxing evening. Make sure you get a second floor room other wise you are looking a the roof of the building in front of you. We...

We loved staying at the Inn at the Tides. While somethings were a little shabby, everything was spotless and very comfortable. Fluffy towels, robes, and pool towels, complimentary bottle of wine, real breakfast in a restaurant and discount on Monday or Tuesday dinner to the Tides restaurant added to the value. The view was amazing. We didn't mind walking down...

We asked for an upstairs room, even though some downstairs rooms have a nice balcony, to have a clear view of the bay. Fantastic view. The room was huge, clean and had a real wood fireplace. For dining on site we had our choice of The Tides across the street or the slightly upscale Bay View near the lobby. We...

We arrived on a Tuesday. The place was very quiet. Luckily we got a room. Very nice, vaulted ceilings, great view! The place was clean. We were given a complimentary bottle of wine. The place is dated, but very charming for a coastal hotel. We've stayed there before and loved it. We were looking forward to dinner at the attached...
