We booked to stay here on route to mammoth we wanted somewhere reasonable just to get a good night sleep. What a lovely welcome!!! The lady at the front desk I'm assuming she may have been the owner was extremely welcoming, check in was a breeze and she recommended some good places to eat. Our room was awesome for what...

Nice people running this place. The rooms are dated, but they are getting remodeled - and the bed was comfy. This isn't your bland Courtyard or La Quinta. This is an old school place run by friendly people. There's a nice lawn for kids or for a bbq . . . and the view of the mountains is spectacular. I...

Very dirty would not stay there again. Roof leaked in the room. Floors were filthy. Under neither the bed I get upset thinking about it.There was a barbecue we thought we could use but it was not cleaned for probably a year. My husband had to clean it to use it because we brought food to barbecue. Yucky place

We really enjoyed our 1 night stay here, we were on our way from San Francisco to Las Vegas via Yosemite. The front desk staff were friendly and informative. The room we had was very comfortable and homely. The beds were comfy and we all slept very well. The room was quite spacious, adequate for a family of 4. There...

This is the place we got based on staff kindness because we booked El Rancho motel and when staff knew that I have 2 daughters she upgraded us to this hotel because both properties maintained by same family. Very spacious/neat/clean not very far from I-395 and main market of Bishop. From kitchen window you can see snow mountains. We will...

I have been staying a Trees Motel for about 20 yrs. I would always come up to Bishop and stay here. Over the years it has changed so much, along with the Office Managers and Owners. John and Betty Young would make people / guest feel like family. Not anymore. People that run the front office should know the history...

We stopped for one night here as a stop over between Death Valley and Yosemite. It's a straightforward and comfortable motel. Ideal for a one night stay Bishop is a really good stopping point in the eastern Sierra. There's plenty of good restaurants (try the Dutch bakery!) and you can get fuel and provisions to get you across Tioga Pass....

We booked this on the strength of the reviews and have to say we were made very welcome. Room was nice but the kitchen area looked in need of an overhaul and one of the upholstered stools was badly stained and we had been told this WAS an up graded room. I would say this is a nice place to...

$129 per night got us a dirty coffeemaker, a bashed in shower/tile base (water all over the floor) long hairs stuck to the polyester blankets (not our hairs) and the AC was too loud to sleep with. No cups or coffee replacements the next day and the remote was duct-taped closed/sticky. --- the sheets seemed clean, though. *If this place...

It's a small hotel with not much going on. Not bad for a 1 night pit stop on the way to Tahoe. The room was clean and the hotel is easy to find. A big plus is that it's just down the road from the Burger Barn. This motel is close to the main road US 395. Line street is...
