This was the closest place we could find to Whitney Portal and Mazanar Historical Site, both about 50 miles south of here. Lake Sabrina & North Lake were 19 miles west. We preferred to find a spot in Lone Pine, but everything seemed to be sold out, at least the bigger hotels. That saying, here was our experience at this...

Thank you for taking the time to express your thoughts about our motel in Bishop. We are very sorry that you did not find your stay to be enjoyable. Smoking is never allowed in our lobby or in any of our recently renovated guest rooms. It is allowed outdoors, as long as it is at least 20 feet away from...

Though not a 5-star hotel, it is comfortable and clean. The room was large. The staff was friendly. The free breakfast was good. Not fancy, but the food was tasty. No complaints.

We stayed here en route from death valley to Yosemite. Bishop is a small town, and all hotels are within a short walk of each other so don't be determined by location, they are all central. Breakfast was included which is continental and more than sufficient, but I cant help but be put off by the sheer wastage of disposable...

For the price I was expecting something nicer. We had a reservation at the Creekside Inn but had to change due to a change in plans and they could not accommodate the date change, so the best we could find was Travelodge. Not likely to stay there again. Noisy and pretty much a bed, a small sink and a small...

Stayed for 2 nights in June to go walking around mammoth lakes. Bishop the town is nice and there are plenty of places to eat and drink. The Travelodge is average. It was reasonable for the price. We had an upstairs room with a balcony. The view was decent as we overlooked the mountains. The hotel was clean but just...

A friend & I booked a 2 Queen room on Expedia. When we arrived, they gave away our room and tried to put us (two big guys) into a king size bed. After some haggling with her manager over the phone, they managed to "upgrade" us into a large 1-Bedroom apartment. It was hardly adequate for guests - bugs (live...

The hotel itself is fine; it's mostly clean (aside from the pubic hair that I found stuck to the inside of the fridge door, ew) and it's been recently updated. For a quick stay over it'd be fine if it weren't for the infestation of box elder bugs. We found these bugs after we checked in and got settled and...

Unfortunately for the many businesses (and residences) in our area, 'Mother Nature' seems to be in charge of this one.... Our local newspaper here in Bishop, 'The Inyo County Register', published an interesting article on July 1st about the 'Western Boxelder' bug you write about in your review. The story is entitled, 'Drought Changing Insect Behavior'. It discusses how the...

Really couldn't ask for more: Front desk staff was great - friendly and helpful. Rooms were attractive and clean. The beds were very comfortable. Swimming pool was great after long, hot drive. Walking distance to a couple of our favorite Bishop restaurants. Free breakfast with a larger selection of items than most motels we have stayed at. Check-out (at noon)...

We had a pleasant stay in Bishop, and the motel was very close to good diners and restaurants. The only but is that there were ants in our bed.
