We went there after we found a really good deal online, but we couldn't book it through the site due to a bad internet connection. The guy at the front desk gave us a much higher rate, and kept asking if we're only staying for one night (even though we told him several times). When we asked if we should...

Hello, I am sorry you felt you were treated unfairly, though keep in mind that the internet deals that are from a third party are such a good deal that at times we do sell out very quickly. As you can see from 2/10/12 (the date we bought this business) we have had good reviews and none stating we were...

We spent 3 days in Big Bear and booked the room for a reasonable price. The hotel is located few blocks from the city with access to everything. Great location. The rooms are nice, comfy beds, nice shower, flat screen tv and all equipped with a kitchenette. Some stuff are dated but it was overall a pleasant stay. The owners...

We stayed for two nights in a loft unit with a queen bed & futon downstairs and another queen upstairs. The room had microwave, fridge coffee pot and wood stove. It was a few blocks walk to the village or a long block to the lake. The room was clean although bath a bit dated. We bought firewood and were...

The Honey Bear Lodge is an excellent place to stay at! The staff is very nice and friendly. The lodge is located in a very quiet area, but close enough to walk to the Village are with plenty of shops and good eats. Our Spa suite was very nice!!!! The room was very large, plenty of space. The spa was...

We stayed one night in room 19, which is not in the main lodge, but rather in a small triplex near the grill/picnic area. Pros: Quiet, clean, plenty of parking, nice shaded picnic area, dog-friendly, easy walk to downtown, mini-frig in room Cons: Older bathroom fixtures, slightly cramped for space in room

We came here for a weekend get a way and it was perfect. Friendly staff (Rachel) clean well maintained room. Two blocks walk from shopping and dining in the village of big bear lake. Short walk to the marina. Really enjoyed ourselves and relaxed.

We arrived late on Friday night, and with ease were checked into our room. The front desk clerk was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Our main purpose for being there was to go skiing. Our "rustic cabin" provided plenty of room, and everything we could possibly need for a cozy weekend away. The fireplace was an added bonus...

Wasnt really sure what to expect since this was our first time to Big Bear. This is a hidden gem. The main road to the Village dead ends at this lodge. Very basic amenities, no shampoo, etc., bed was hard, but loved the chair that converts to bed for one daughter and the futon for the other daughter. The view...

This was our first trip to Big Bear Lake, California. We were invited to a friend's wedding but had no idea of where to stay or anything about Big Bear. We were pleasantly surprised! Our stay at the Honey Bear Lodge exceeded our expectations. Our lower level room was very clean. It included two queen size beds, fridge, microwave, coffee...

I had a great time at the lodge. Close to restaurants and walking distance to bar. Cool place to go and a nice staff. You can walk to the lake, or view the lake from the lodge. We will be back again for sure.
