For just a room it was not so bad. It was clean and the heater worked great. It was quiet and raccoons outside our room. Really sweet. Walking distance to everything. My family really liked it. Shower was tiny though.

I was trying to book a room in Big Bear 1 week before the Thanksgiving weekend and all I could get war the Knights inn, After reading the reviews I was a little concerned, The rooms were clean, Indoor pool and Spa area were close and used as a storage area

To say this place was horrible would be putting it nicely. Where to even begin? The nicest thing in the room was the dresser the ancient tiny T.V. was sitting on. Our windows had no screens , and with two small children and no working fan (the ceiling fan apparently is just for looks cause there was no working switch... More

I'm writing this review to warn people not to stay here. This place is so rundown I'm surprised it's not condemned. The furniture looks like the stuff people set out on curbs for people to take if they want it. Everything is in disrepair. The ancient wall heater sounds like someone is standing next to it banging on it with... More

This hotel might have been built in 1964 with no updates since. It was falling apart, not safe or secure. The location is great and does have wifi, but the TV is circa 1980. Free breakfast is coffee and a prepackage danish. The wooden steps were falling apart, old mattress and furniture outside. And I agree with previous review, the... More

When we first set foot in our room, a violently terrible wave of putrid mustard gas ( I kid you not, it smell like bad feet and cigarettes) bowled us over. Next thing that hit us was the incredible heat. The frickin' fireplace and the heater were both on!!!!!!*cough*its the middle of summer*cough*...Worst of all, it had no air conditioner...... More

This place sucked super bad. We stayed in the building across the street not the main check in building, that took some time to figure out. No handicap access. No AC. No Screens on window so bugs join you at night. Window required my tools to open. No coffee pot. Not clean. Run down to the ground, thought we were... More

Since we decided at the last minute to go to Big Bear for the 4th of July, our lodging options were limited. The Knight's In had a room available for under $100 so I booked it. I read the reviews so I sort of knew what we were getting into. But we didn't plan on being in the room much... More

The filled-in swimming pool out front and motorists laughing at me should have clued me in. The heater wouldn't turn off, the cable cut out after a few minutes, abandoned rooms, bombed out locals using other rooms as party/crash pads, plenty of highway noise, decaying and dangerous stairways... this place is more like a bad movie. Funny, it doesn't look... More

I would actually rate this a zero. Please be careful before you decide to book here. At the last minute we were switched to another room. When we entered, the blinds were broken, the bed sunk in the middle, and there was no microwave. Because it was the only hotel in town with vacancy, we didn't complain. On our ride... More
