Great cabin for reconnecting with my teenage kids. The cabin was perfect size for my family not to big and not to small (Comfy cozy cabin). The grounds were super clean and well taken care of with plenty of thing for the kids. Sharon was very helpful and made us feel right at home. Thank you Sharon

The cabin was very clean with all the basics included. The cabins aren't too close to each other and have ample parking space for cars. They are located in a quiet location yet near shopping and restaurants. Sharon is a great hostess!

Very nice getaway! It was perfect for our wishes to get away into the mountains for the night, have a cozy fire, snuggle together with our new baby. Only drawback was that the shower is only big enough for one person and the water barely got above warm.

My biker moll and I decided to ride from the Bay Area to Big Bear Lake to partake in the Run for The Grizzlies motorcycle rallye. The Blue Horizon Lodge was recommended by the rallye organizers. We stayed here in February but also in August last year, we ended up in same cabin #2 as before! Similar experience. Would come again. Good for family, secluded, quiet, friendly manager. This time I slept in the pull-out sofa in the living room. Needs to be replaced, bed tilts slightly downward so a bit of sore neck muscles in...

This place was great. Very quiet and clean, bed was very comfortable, and cottage was nicely decorated. I was able to work at night on internet, & it is close to town. I will definitely stay here again & managers were friendly & knowledgeable about the area & gave great references for resturants.
