I hoped for a romantic vacation but it was no where close to one. The room door was broken looked like someone broke in and we felt unsafe. Half the time there was no hot water. Bathroom was stuck. Bathroom sink was clogged. Kitchen didn't have a stove. We had the heater on as it was cold and it constantly...

My husband and I traveled to Big Bear in hope of a fun/romantic vacation. We stayed at Lakewood Cabins and it was anything but fun as when we got there the floor was dirty we planned on doing small cooking but there was no stove and no utensils (luckily we took some utensils and Dave the manager being so kind...

We got the studio cabin room, # 11, we like to stay close to downtown big bear, so we dont have to drive, this place was a short 10 min walk to downtown, its down on a quiet street. the cabins look like little small houses, its cute. our cabin had a woodburning fireplace, but you need to supply your...

This is a nice quiet place to stay in Big Bear. If you're looking for a 4 star resort, this is not your place. If you like a little rustic cabin in a quiet location this will work. Close to Big Bear City and the lake. Rates are very reasonable!

Thoroughly enjoyed our 6 nights at Big Bear on Poplar Lake. Cabins were super clean, cozy, and nicely decorated. You won't be roughing it here. The lodge is gorgeous and welcoming with hosts Andy and Ida to make you feel right at home. Homemade pizzas were super-delicious accompanied by a nice assortment of beer to quench our thirst. Looking forward...

My love and I have been looking to getaway from our hectic city life. Both of us have stressful and demanding careers that do not allow for much quiet time (unless we are sleeping) We needed a place were we could getaway, put our electronic devices down and just enjoy each others company. We booked a cabin at Lakewood through...

Be aware of this dump. My friends and I planned a snowboarding trip in big bear. We picked this place because it had 3.5 stars, which normally isn't that bad, and it was one of the cheapest cabins we could find. There was liquid stains on the tiny couch and it was dusty like it has never been cleaned. There...

This accommodation could do with some updating but was pretty clean, warm and a great location. The guy running it was helpful - providing two eco logs to have a fire when we arrived to freezing Temperatures. Everything works and the bed was really comfortable. If you want a budget price and a great base to explore Big Bear we...

I loved the place. Me and my hunny went there for a weekend getaway to escape the madness of the city of Las Vegas for a while. The cabin was simple but cozy. It's clean and it had plenty of space for 2 people. I was hoping for something a little more remote but it was quiet despite being near everything....
