SIXTY Beverly Hills is often celebrated for its chic and stylish ambiance, with guests enjoying the modern decor and luxurious bedding that adorn the well-appointed rooms. The rooftop bar and pool with stunning views are highlights, despite some remarks about room lighting and service. Nestled in a prime location, the hotel is lauded for its safety and easy access to local attractions. While the service garners compliments for its professionalism, some guests point out the value is slightly diminished by small rooms and valet costs, even as the overall cleanliness is praised.

Love the cute trendy rooms with fully stocked minibar and nespresso machines in the morning for coffee. very nice! lots of young people - it feels like you’re in the heart of the area, Beverly Hills, and the location is great for stepping outside to nearby coffee shops and restaurants or even for a walk. The down side is that it’s a little noisy - but i did LOVE that the room has a balcony. great bathroom and lighting is very moody. No full room service during this time, but friendly staff and hand sanitizers everywhere with covid measures in place (no mask, no service)

My wife and I stayed at the Sixty in Beverly Hills in early March 2020.
We had a Studio King Room in the second floor.

The room itself was pretty large, which was unexpected.

The location was rather good as well if Beverly Hills is your cup of tea.

There were several downsides though.

Our room being on the second floor, we only had a view of a building next door.
The upside was that our room didn’t overlook the boulevard, which can be pretty busy and has some heavy building work going on for the upcoming Metro line.
The big downside was that the room was super super dark, both because of the room decor, the lack of natural sunlight and the choice of lighting.

The room itself was also extremely noisy because of the air conditioning duct going through it, which I can’t imagine is solvable, and is seemingly a design flaw. I mentioned it to desk staff who said they would get an engineer to have a look but it didn’t change anything.

The bathroom was okay but the shower pressure was pretty bad too.

Also worth noting, the 2nd floor is where the hotel hosts events such as small conferences and retreats, and the sound from those events really bled into our room.

Other than that, the place was clean, WIFI was speedy, the room was always cleaned daily and we were never disturbed by staff when the do-not-disturb sign was on.
So altogether a mixed experience.

Like so many of LA's fashionable boutique hotels, Sixty's hipness manifests itself in a brown-and black color scheme that results in a seriously uninviting lobby and drab guestroom decor. That said, the upper-floor rooms (the higher the better) offer ample relaxing room and expansive views. Staff is pleasant and a rooftop bar and pool provide good leisure time in clement weather. Some people swear by Caulfield's, the in-house restaurant, but I found the service indifferent and the menu unexciting. Fortunately, the hotel's central location makes it a quick walk to some of Beverly hills' best dining options.

The staff at the Sixty are caring & proactive to one’s needs. Housekeeping never disturbs you yet always gets their job done, and the restaurant, Ella, is 4 star food at a very reasonable price.
Anything you could possibly need is within walking distance.

Had the pleasure of staying at the Sixty for a work trip, and could not be happier with my stay. The room (corner, studio King) was spacious and super chic; great water pressure, comfy bed, TV was able to hook up to mis streaming devices, fast WiFi. The location of the hotel was pretty central to loads of LA places, but most of my time was spent indulging in the downstairs restaurant, Ella, and the upstairs pool area. Drinks upstairs were fantastic, and the menu at Ella was perfect and varied. Franco & Justin quickly became reliable service for breakfast, and it was always a pleasure interacting with all food and beverage staff. Will be staying here again for any upcoming LA trips! Thanks, Sixty!

I stayed here 6 nights for work. I was very impressed by T.Brown at the front desk. He picked up the phone when I called prior to my arrival and was very professional and knowledgeable throughout my stay.
I also would like to say thank you to Magela the cleaning lady and Taylor-Great service!
The food at Ella and their room service is amazing! Really enjoyed the burger and yogurt granola breakfast. It was great to be able to pre-order breakfast every night prior and have it arrive in the morning,m. The hotel is very clean and chic.
Note to management: the floor on the shower at room 814 has a concave shape so the water pools. Also, the clear rubber underneath the mobile glass shower door is about 2 inches short so the water gets out. Other than that the room, bathroom, furniture, lighting and mini bar are FANTASTIC! This is a great hotel, keep at it!
Thank you all,
Lucia

I am booked here for two nights. Only positive thing I can say is that due to covid the price of the Room was very reasonable for Beverly Hills. If I was paying 300 to $400 a night which is their usual charge I would be livid. 1st of all they nickel and dime you to death. $45 at night for parking $19.95 for amenities fee which is a nespresso coffee maker and access to the pool which is closed thanks to covid. If you use more than 2 pods they charge you $2 a pod. And the funniest thing is my presso machine is broken so I'll deal with that when I go down to the desk period of course then there's the smell in the tiny intensely dark lobby. They use some kind of cloying air freshener. Also mentioned in another review. There is no reading chair in the Room just a chair at the desk no place to put your suitcase. Who needs a black marble bathroom. It's so dark even with the lights on I can hardly find the soap. Cleanliness seems to Be adequate however all the furniture is worn and ding'd up. The staff is nice enough.

Starting with checkin, we did not get a very warm welcome - in general, it was just a bland vibe. No hello welcome, more like checking us in was a chore.

The man who was speaking to the other guest literally baffled us - a pair of foreign travelers were inquiring about COVID test sites and whether the hotel offered it, the man literally said in monotone, “no we don’t, I don’t know where to go but you can Google it.” If you don’t like interacting with customers, maybe don’t work in hospitality?

The room itself is sadly outdated, there are a bunch of dirty water pipes popping out under the sink, and the shower is still covered with a piece of plastic cloth which since COVID just seems so unsanitary. We asked for more than two bottles of water per day and the front desk person again, rudely told me that they don’t offer more than two bottles a day. What kind of hotel limits a guest’s water intake?

In addition, there’s never anyone at the front desk. No one answers the phone when we call, which defeats the purpose of staying at a hotel…

Our third day here, my husband was working in the room until noon, and the cleaning lady came at 1145am asking to clean. He had politely asked her if she could come back in 15 minutes once he leaves for lunch and she nodded yes. When he came back in the afternoon, it was not cleaned. Turns out that she does not speak English and did not understand the request - so he asked her to come back at 530pm, she nodded again. But this time he gets a call from the hotel saying they don’t clean rooms after 5pm.

Overall, the vibe is just very off. We truly just don’t feel welcomed here, and every request we have is a huge ask to the staff. I am disappointed and will probably not be staying here again next time.

The rooms here are nice and the rooftop bar is a really nice touch. Friendly staff and good food too. Parking at the hotel is expensive but because of its location you will struggle to find other parking. Location wise this hotel is awesome so you will find yourself walking a lot of places but the room itself is definitely more expensive because of this luxury..

This is our second stay at The Sixty. We visit LA at least twice a year and this is the only repeat hotel - excellent price and very convenient location for Beverly Hills shopping and restaurants. We walked to most all of our meals, had numerous options, with great breakfast at hotel (Ella). Rooms are comfortable, most have small balconies - we had a perfect view of Hollywood hills. Rooftop pool and outside bar a plus - not too busy but good crowd. Rooms were always cleaned and front desk staff super attentive! Many thanks to the manager Chris! We will definitely be back and highly recommend.
