I visited this hotel for just one evening while on a business trip. The hotel is a quant boutique hotel in Beverly Hills but located very close to the financial district of Century City. The staff was pleasant and the room rate was reasonable. The rooms are small but that is to be expected in an older hotel. The hotel...

If location is your primary concern, this boutique hotel is in the heart of Beverly Hills with great shopping and fabulous restaurants. My main objection is a heavy perfume deodorizer that is used throughout the entire hotel. I sneezed from the moment I crossed the threshold of the foyer until we checked out two days later. The rooms are tiny,...

We stayed at Maison 140 in early Dec. I would not stay there again. It may be the least expensive hotel on the west side of Beverly Hills, but to be polite, it is very tired, and desperately needs to be updated. Unfortunately there aren’t many moderately expensive, good hotels in Beverly Hills or West LA. We would have been...

This is a pleasant place to stay with a nice lobby area and decent, comfortable rooms even though the colours can be a little bright. It is small hotel, however, quite nice. The majority of the staff were helpful and nice.

I booked this hotel for a recent one night business trip to Los Angeles because I wanted to be in Beverly Hills and I'm painfully bored of traditional hotels. This hotel was everything I wanted it to be - historical and distinct with an AMAZING location, and easy parking. The property is cool and different and well-updated. I especially liked...

I loved it. Small, good location, good service, silent. A good option for LA. The building seems renovated , has nice decoration and parking. The street has mostly residential units but there are shops close by.

Very friendly staff. Great neighborhood. to take a stroll. rooms are clean, well equipped, but expect smaller sized, very adequate for two. Think Europe and enjoy! We enjoyed our stay, and would recommend. Great value for the dollar, especially when you consider the location.. presented with a welcome glass of champagne, a nice touch.

Rooms are small but always nicely cleaned. Lobby is all you need and nothing you don't. Bar is cute. Overall, very nice décor. Staff are nice. It's great that guests have reciprocal rights at the Mosaic (close by, more expensive sister hotel). I love to stay here when on business in Beverly Hills since it is a great price, in...

Nice hotel, clean and very chic. Not the best service from the people checking us in - no help at all. Overall, hotel was nice, room service food was good as well. Soundproofing could be looked at as we could hear everything from the room next door all night - unpleasant!

It is quaint and quiet with an amazing location (directly behind the Peninsula). Limited room service is catered from their sister hotel on the next block. The bar is chic and overseen by Randy who has been a Beverly Hills bartender long enough to fill your evenings with stories. The rooms are basic but well maintained with a new and...

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighbourhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
