Needed one additional night for work when in LA, found this property via online search, and was very pleasantly surprised. Great location on the edge of downtown Beverly Hills, rooms are great although a bit on the smaller side.

You might have seen the reviews here mentioning how small the rooms are. Well this is no hype, they really are small. The hotel masquerades as a boutique hotel, but really it's just cosmetic, it's just a small hotel with small rooms. As a tourist you don't come to LA to spend time in your room, so the basic essentials...

Thank you for choosing to stay with us during your recent visit to Beverly Hills, and we are glad that you were able to use our location to best suit your needs while visiting the Los Angeles area. I am sorry that you found the valet parking rate to be higher than your expectations; valet parking is the standard in...

I had the pleasure of staying two nights at The Crescent. Sure I read the reviews of people complaining about things - but I take negative reviews with a grain of salt. The hotel is in the HEART of Beverly Hills! You can WALK to EVERYTHING! I arrived late on a Friday night. Candlelight greeted me upon entrance, the front...

I think you can get an okay room at this place, but be sure to ask in advance. Mine was so small that you couldn't even sit up--no chair or desk. As an added insult, the remote for the tiny TV didn't work. The staff is nice, but valet parking costs $28. The only reason I gave it two stars...

We checked into the Crescent for two nights, and everything looked like it was going to be great. The Hotel is cool-Art Deco, very clean, and room, small, but looked great. The room could have used a chair, the platform bed lacked real support. However, the neighborhood is beautiful. The location is very convenient to Beverly Hills shopping, Rodeo Drive...

Okay so where the heck was the iron? I guess an ironing board would also be necessary. My room was so small that myself and the bell hop couldn't be in it at the same time!!!! I'm talking maybe 200 sq. ft. Literally! You had to be careful not to hit the corner of the bed when you turned the...

Thank you for your feed back. I'm so sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay. From your description I am certain you chose one of our Petit rooms which are quite small at 130sq.ft. Those rooms are usually sold at a great discount but it is clear that you experience over shadowed the rate. I all very...

Stayed there one night--I would say you will love or hate this place based on what you are looking for in a hotel. Check-in was pleasant and our brief interactions with the staff were pleasant and professional. No elevator- they did offer to carry our bags upstairs. If I were going back to college at age 41 and thought it would be "fun" to live in a dorm room, I imagine it would look something like room 205. Thank you for your response. We do appreciate your feedback. I'm glad to hear that your sleep was comfortable although you felt the room was too small for your taste. Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighbourhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This Beverly Hills hotel, a true boutique with just 32 rooms, is in the heart of Beverly Hills just 3 blocks from Rodeo Drive. The front palm lined terrace (breakfast, nibbles, tapas and dinner) faces Crescent Ave - a wide palm lined boulevard. Established in 1927 and newly renovated in 2013, the décor is casually Hollywood, like a comfy collection of styles from the studios' storehouse of set designs stretching from 1920 to 2013. The feeling is “at-studio-at-home” with a film designer’s whimsy. The terrace and lounge flow to create the hotel’s social hub, offering casual dining and a relaxing bar/lounge, punctuated by Beverly Hills chatter. Directly opposite the hotel are the historic offices of MCA Studios. Our hotel became MCA’s local choice, where a cadre of players would stay when in town. ... more   less
