Our group booked the whole 3 cabins. We had an awesome weekend with good food and company. We did some local walks and took in Cedar Gallery. We are repeat guests and will continue to return. A gr8 weekend away. A family favourite to visit. A big tick from us.

Lovely quiet little cabins with an amazing view. Very well appointed, with full size fridge/freezer, small cooktop, microwave and BBQ on the back deck. Enjoyed a nice quiet evening stroll to the Chalet for dinner the first night, but the main reason for our stay was that it was close to our family in Netherdale. Thank you for the last minute booking. Was very much appreciated!

The location is excellent, right on the edge of the escarpment looking back down the Pioneer Valley towards Mackay. We were there in December when it's very hot on coast, but the uplands were cooler, with fresh breezes and cool nights. The facilities were excellent, everything was provided and everything was spotless. The best site for seeing the Eungella Honeyeater is about 15km away, and the cabins are ideally situated to get to other forests and walking trails. The number of bird spp you can see from the deck is outstanding. And there are fireflies in the evening!

We enjoyed our three days at Mountain Edge Escape. We stayed in the two bedroom Beechwood unit the first day and then moved to one of the one bedroom units. The units. Very nice cabins with spectacular views. You do need to stock up with food before driving up the mountain. The chalet was the only place open for us and it was nice for a meal and coffee with great views also. We enjoyed the bush walks with the sky window the shortest but offering the best views of the valley. We saw plenty of platypus on the two days we went looking. The cabins had everything you need for a stay.

My partner & I stayed in a 1 bedroom cabin with a table & chairs and gas bbq on back balcony. View of valley and mountains from there, with forest over to one side. We heard a number of birds calling and the location was extremely easy to drive to birding locations. Our cabin was meticulously clean and spacious with everything we could need. Plenty of room in the fridge too.

If visiting Eungella National Park, I highly recommend staying in the Tulip Oak Cabin at Mountain Edge Escape. My husband and I stayed 5 nights and enjoyed every moment. The cabin has the most breathtaking views of the valley, it is very clean, well equipped and very reasonably priced. We did all the walks within the NP and were amazed at how beautiful they all are. They are not difficult walks at all my favourite would be The Crediton Creek Track. Finch Hatton Gorge should not be missed. The walks and falls are beautiful. Broken River is the place to see platypus in the wild and it did not disappoint, we saw many there and along the walks. Such a beautiful area of the world, make sure it makes it on your bucket list.

My wife and I had a two night stay at Mountain Edge Escape a couple of weeks ago, staying in the very comfortable Tulip Oak cabin. It is an excellent base for exploring Eungella - the rainforest walks, Broken River platypus and a drive out to Eungella Dam. We also visited Finch Hatton Gorge on the way back down the valley. The cabin is clean and has everything you need, including for self catering. The booking process was very easy and efficient. The cabin has a nice little verandah and the view down the Pioneer Valley is wonderful. The cabin rate is very reasonable - can recommend Mountain Edge Escape cabins.

Thank you for having us. I've visit eungella before but never stayed a night. The view from the balkony was just amazing. Everything was clean and tidy and so welcoming. Mostly it was quite and I really felt relaxed(also there are a couple of cabins beside, I couldn't tell). We didn't want to leave and next time I'm going to stay 2 nights, so I can relax even more. Please keep up the good work because it's just amazing staying with you :) Thank you :)
