We rented a cabin for a couple of nights, and enjoyed every minute of it. We were even able to barbecue on the deck! The hotel´s restaurant offers excellent food and great service. They even have a very complete grocery store.

Nice place but it is pricey. The villa has 2 levels with a nice balcony. The room service is extremely slow. Local grocery store is quite good but the prices are far higher than any normal market. There is just one local restaurant that is not that great. The villa has a complete kitchen with gas, appliances, fridge, and microwave.

The Pines Resort-Chalet April 19, 2017 to April 23, 2017 Note: My husband and I travel often, usually staying in hotels. Sometimes we are luxury travelers, sometimes budget. I review hotels/restaurants at a relative level, not comparing a $100 room to a $400 room. To be fair, I adjust my level of scrutiny accordingly. We traveled to Bass Lake, California...

Stayed here for the first time during the Yosemite Half Marathon weekend and loved it. Very peaceful and quiet, esp in the morning. We stayed in one of the suites near Ducey's restaurant and the room was beautiful with a wonderful lake view, hot tub, small balcony, and couch area... with the restaurant, pool, and bass boat rentals a short...

The chalet we stayed in was advertised to seep six. It did sleep six but had one bathroom that was downstairs. The chalets are a little dated but worked. We stayed one night before the Yosemite Half Marathon. We returned after the race at 11:10 and asked for late check out. It was offered until 11:30 which was not very...

The chalets at the Pines Resort are delightful cabins. If you visit with the idea that you are visiting and intend to stay in a cute little cabin, this is perfect. Our chalet had 2 floors (bathroom downstairs) & a small loft (quite appropriate for a couple of teenagers to bed down if you bring your own bedding including air...

We were able to get living social vouchers, which were great, and took off north. We had a two floor "chalet", with full kitchen, living room & balcony..downstairs with king size bed & bathroom. Since we had vouchers we were relegated to the furthest reaches of the property so although the resort is on the lake, we had no view...

Room a bit hard to find but once found was bi-level room, one bathroom, rustic mood but appropriate for lodge and resort. Very much enjoyed it. Will try to return with more time and maybe on season to enjoy the lake.

Thank you Robert S for taking the time to leave us a review! As you mentioned the rooms can be a bit difficult to find but once found are in close proximity to everything on the resort. We invite you back to enjoy more lake activities such as boating, fishing and hiking. Best Wishes, April Hopkins

We booked 3 nights and only ended up staying 2. We would of stayed longer but we aren't really nature kind of people. Our house was cute and just right for us. Husband and I stayed down stairs in the king bed while 16yr old son stayed upstairs in the queen let out sofa. We thought this was perfect for...

Dear DawnJones13, We are pleased to hear that our king chalet room type was a perfect fit for you and your family. And you are correct that these room types are great for multiple families to use while staying at the resort as they are set up as duplex cabins. Sincerely, April Hopkins

I stayed here on Easter weekend in a suite. The suites have a unblocked view of the lake. It's a pretty view. Our room was a good size with the bed area elevated and the sitting area down below. There was also a small outdoor sitting area to enjoy the view. The room had a musty smell and the decorations...
