We spent a relaxing week at Mimpi Indah Resort. The resort is welcoming with all the furniture in the cottages and the restaurant built by the people of the resort from the bamboo. Our cottage was very spacious, airy with a huge bed and mosquito net, well thought through details like a safe for the documents to lock, water dispenser,...

Wouldn't quite describe it as an eco-resort having stayed at a few in SE asia. Unless you're diving, there are better alternatives in other locations in this part of the world. The accommodation facilities are the real strengths here. The bungalows are cleverly designed, clean and comfortable.

The resort is superb, first class, the rooms spacious and with hot water. The Electricity is only on during the evening, but who cares when you have a beautiful beach outside and great macro diving on your doorstep. All the staff are helpful and kind and will feed you until you roll out of the door! We never had the...

Bangka is still thankfully not quite spilling at its seams with resorts and Mimpi Indah is one of seven. Started 9 years ago, it is run by Owen and Ulva and their three daughters and three dogs. With only 4 cottages, it makes for delightfully small and cozy interaction among the guests. Each cottage is facing the sea and is...

We enjoyed the peace and tranquility of Mimpi Inda resort, last March, the rainy season without rain. Beautiful eco resort on a former plantation, large comfortable bamboo chalets, charming bamboo walking bridges, amazing bamboo water towers and superb food - hot lunch and dinner, we never had the same during the week we stayed. Private diving service as it was...

We spent 5 amazing days here. It is a lovely resort on a stunningly beautiful island. The bungalows are cosy, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The owner and his family create a very friendly athmosphere. The diving is great and the diving material is OK, however it has seen better days. When we were there, internet was not available. This is...

My wife and me visited Mimpi Indah as part of a diving holiday that we booked in Holland. Looking for a break between Bunaken National Parc and Lembeh Strait, Bangka - the island where Mimpi Indah is located. Seeing the positive comments on Tripadvisor we decided to give it a go and it was spot-on! The diving was quite different...

Its location is in Bangka Island, North Sulawesi. The hotel management will pick you up from the airport and bring you to a jetty, then take a boat for another 30-40 minutes. We stayed in this resort for two weeks. The food is mostly Indonesian food, really delicious. They tried to make Italian food as well but honestly, to get...

We had a dream stay at that little paradise. The staff and owners are very friendly and we got a very personalized care, from the medicine given to my Mum, to the baby car-seat and cot, and bath. The nature there is beautiful, and the diving really nice, with a lot of critters such as pygmy seahorses. The resort is...

“I think that all of the bungalows are equally good really; all have a nice view and are quiet. I don't think any have an advantage over the others really, except perhaps with regard to the length of the walk to the dive centre!”
