Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Culburra Beach Motel is located in a quiet part of town - fabulous. The rooms have been nicely renovated with a small kitchenette which is always a bonus. Very clean and central to the local small cafes and restaurant.

Stayed just the one night at this small motel and happy with everything. The manager was friendly and helpful and the room was very spacious and clean - and that goes for en-suite too. Comfy king-size bed, plus good wifi reception and water pressure. Good size kitchenette. Just off the main road so nice and quiet; the motel is walking distance from the local shopping centre which features a few cafes and restaurants. Probably a little too far from the beach to walk it comfortably.

After a long rainy crappy drive from Canberra via the Nerriga Rd (really a goat track) we were looking forward to a nights stopover in Culburra before heading back to Sydney. The small motel is located in a quiet street not far from facilities in town. The room was pretty nice to tell the truth, bed was comfy and plenty of hot water in the shower, that's always a big plus for us and the remainder of the facilities were pretty good. Now the gripes, a little portable cook top would be a great bonus especially if staying for more than one night. A hairdryer would also be a bonus. We utilised our NSW stay vouchers with a balance of $70 outstanding, if we had been paying full rate of $170 I would be a tad disappointed as I don't believe it is good value, there is no real competition in the village except for AIR B&B’s and the caravan park, but they all had two night minimums. The adjoining room occupants turned up late at night and made an almighty racket, they eventually crashed out around midnight, but they then decided they would get up at 3am in the morning for who knows what and create enough noise to wake the dead, banging car doors talking at full volume with out a care in the world. So much for the quiet country life... As there we no onsite manger to call we had to put up with the crap for about two hours until they shut up. Sorry for the poor review but if you own it you cop it, there needs to be an avenue to shut this stuff down.

Culburra Beach Motel is small but great. The manager, John, was very pleasant to deal with during our 2 nights' stay. It's all you'd want in a short break - spic and span accommodation, hot shower, comfy bed, cosy, good aircon, fresh airflow, quiet, lots of lamps, sunny room (no.2), easy parking, close to beach and town. Top stay.

Great motel! Just the type I like. Quiet, comfortable, unpretentious, and everything works. Convenient little things, so often lacking: hooks and rails in the bathroom to hang towels, tissues, placemats. They don’t do breakfast but there’s a well equipped kitchen. They provide the makings for coffee and tea, and they were fresh. The bathroom floor has small tiles rather than big shiny slippery ones. There’s an air conditioner. I can’t think of anything to complain about!

Friendly welcome, clean and spacious rooms, kettle/toaster/microwave and usual facilities. Stayed in room 8 which was a good location. its quite a little nook, close to beach, restaurants/cafes. The bowlo is where all the community gathered on Saturday night.

We stayed for three nights for a long weekend and had the most relaxing time. Check in/out was easy, the room was a great size, so clean and well appointed with a kitchenette and outdoor bbq. Great shower, comfy bed, so quiet and a 5 minute walk to the shops/club one way and to the beach the other way. Will definitely be back,

We stayed for one night and found the room to be comfortable and clean. Handy to have a Kitchenette and short walk in either directions to shops or the beach. The grounds were well maintained and it was quiet. The owners were helpful enough to call us shortly after we checked out to let us know we left some items on the room. Overall a pleasant stay , thank you.

+ Very clean, comfortable and cozy. Aircon warms up very fast. Good hot water. Well equipped kitchenette, plenty of complimentary tea and coffee. In easy walking distance to the beach and shops. Friendly and helpful owners. - Thin walls (you can hear neighboring guests talking and their TV)
