Wow. Expectations exceeded as 23 members of our family stayed for 3 nights. Food - phenomenal. Cabin - gorgeous. Service - perfection. Above and beyond in every category. Thank you SO much. Will return!
We spent three nights at the lodge. It is perfectly located to enjoy all the great hikes in the park. Our cabin was so cozy and clean, and right beside the water. The cabins are well positioned to offer lots of privacy. Feeding the chipmunks...More

Well it's hard to ask for a better reference than "gem of a place" ... thank you so much.
And thank you for your compliments about daughters Charlotte and Alexandra ... we hear that a lot!!
A very special thank-you to Eric and Poppy and the KL staff for their kindness to my parents during their recent stay. My father was not well and the thought of them travelling to and staying in the park alone was a worry to the...More

Thank you for taking the time to write Sarah. We're pleased to hear that your folks enjoyed their stay. They were delight to have as guests :)
We had a great time at the lodge.
The cabin (#29) is beautifully situated and was clean and cosy. We met our friendly neighbourhood red squirrels and chipmunks almost immediately and enjoyed feeding them the peanuts that our hosts so thoughtfully supply.

Ha ha ... my standard order in the kitchen is almost always a "half portion". It's great to indulge on vacation but if I ate like this all season I'd end up looking like Santa Claus ;) Eric
We stayed at Killarney lodge for four nights - we were upgraded to a shoreline cabin, which was very very peaceful, with the only discernible noise being the lapping of the lake against the shore and the birds / squirrels / chipmunks during the day....More

Thanks for pointing out too that...More

Killarney has a nice selection of complimentary tea, coffee, cocoa and cookies in the guest lodge at all times (with complimentary cold drinks and snacks in the paddle shop), but no kettles or coffee makers in the cabins. I noticed that the owners commented on an earlier review that, being a historic property, the wiring in the cabins couldn't necessarily handle kettles on top of lights and hair dryers without tripping the fuses. The guest lodge and paddle shop are easily accessible, so we didn't mind.
