This campground is down a 40km dirt track from anywhere which takes about an hour to drive. So if you like this rural - this is for you. Just make sure you take everything you need as it is a 2 hour round trip from the nearest shop (although there is a basic store on site - but no fresh...

This campground is remote, isolated and magnificent! Bring all!!! that you may need for your stay. It is an one hour drive in from the highway along a dirt road. Drive slow, it is very twisty and lots of wild life do jump out from the bush. Camp sites are few and very nicely spaced out. Water and facilities are...

Brent Campground is a fantastic spot for a variety of camping experiences. The staff was great, the grounds and facilities top notch. I would recommend this campground to anyone who enjoys the outdoors. Be sure to have enough fuel and supplies before heading in and you should have a great time. (Just be aware of bandits. They look just like...

My husband and I spent 4 days at Brent this June. We were there from Wednesday-Friday. The great thing about mid-week camping is that the park was nearly empty. We only saw 3 other sites with campers on them. The Brent Crater trail was really nice. The platform overlooking Lake Tecumseh was beautiful and there is a portage leading from...

We have stayed in Brent three times. The first time we arrived after the office was closed. no problem we simply signed the sheet on the door stating what site we reserved and the ranger dropped our permit off within the next few days. We make sure we take all the supplies we need as the little Brent Store does...

We booked a site on the beach, thinking it was relatively private, as the campsite registration said "good privacy". Unfortunately, there was very little privacy from the campsite next to us (no trees in between) and the fact that the whole campground used our site as their public beach. This was a very long way to go (7 hours from...

We had an excellent stay at this campsite. Nice green grass and beautiful views. Staff at the Brent store were very helpful in setting us up with an overnight canoe-camping trip. Wonderful beach and very secluded. There are ranger cabins too, especially the deputy ranger cabin looked very nice.

I have been going to Brent on Cedar Lake the last week of September for the last 5 years. I will be going for a week next week and can't wait. We fish the lake for smallmouth bass, lakers, pickeral and white fish. We also fish the Petawawa River and the crater lakes for speckled trout and yellow perch. The...
