I walked here from balmacara and chose the seafood platter. All locally caught and or locally smoked fish. WOW. It's a great pub in a very pretty village. If you're in the area, drop in....one word of caution - it gets busy, so book to avoid being disappointed.

First let me say I should have complained at the time. Having said that I did comment on paying the bill. I would agree with the comments made by reviewer Lister - Anderson April17. The room was clean(No 12) really a single with a double bed. No wardrobe but a rail to hang clothes on. We had two aircraft cabin...

Rooms clean and modern. Staff very friendly and helpful. Live music in the bar some evenings, which was great. Only negative would be that the breakfast is served between 8am and 9am, which is a wee bit of an early finish. A bit pricey too.

We had dinner in the Inn and enjoyed ourselves very much. The seafood was fantastic. (The mussels were to die for.) The staff has been friendly, helpful and uncomplicated. We can recommend the Plockton Inn full heartedly to everyone visiting Plockton.

Thank goodness we were advised to book a table as the Inn was very busy. Even though the Inn was busy the service was great, the staff were friendly and the food was very tasty. We enjoyed our fish, with homemade tarter sauce and crispy chips. The Crannachan for desert was delicious.

We booked in for two nights. The room was very small with a decent sized bed which was very comfortable. The room was spotlessly clean, well looked after but a bit short on space.. There was no wardrobe but a rail to hang ones clothes on, not much room on either side of the bed. Once we had the bags...

We found the food here wonderful, as were the plentiful, friendly and helpful team of waiting staff. ( At time of writing the menu on the website looks a bit out of date on prices) I didn't get to try them, but the dishes of prawns looked immense. Breakfasts were also excellent; the eggs seemed exceptionally fresh, and all served...
