The room was a good size for a decent price. The path through the garden in the back was an enjoyable walk. Our room had a nice balcony, but was shared with another room. The front desk was polite when checking in.

I felt very much at home at this family-owned and family-run in. The owner picked up guests at the rail station and I was in my room within a few minutes. The location is in the center of a beautiful small village, with plenty of walking paths around and beautiful views. I also enjoyed relaxing in the pub, sampling some...

Stayed for 3 nights in room 10. Nice double bed at back of hotel so it was quiet and shared a terrace with one more room so felt comfortable. We ate in this hotel 2 nights. Food good and drink range is good. Breakfast is nice and complimentary tea/coffee and fresh milk. Stayed a few times. Always feel welcome and...

We had a lovely lunch called Plockton Smoke which was smoked haddock in a creamy tomato sauce topped with cheese. It was absolutely delicious. I liked the bar in the hotel. It was a busy lunchtime and the staff were run off their feet. One lady, who was very friendly was serving food, clearing tables, taking money, making bookings. The...

My husband and I were here for 2 nights. Loved our room, staff was friendly when we checked in. Beware the restaurant! Terrible service, terrible food, unfriendly staff. Waited for 50 minutes for our food while people - who arrived waaay after we did - were served and finished their dinners while we were STILL waiting. Ended up leaving as...

We popped in for lunch from the nearby airstrip. Although the restaurant was booked for a wedding we could still use the newly refurbished seating area across the road by the water - which is where we wanted to be on this beautiful day. Service was a little slow as they prepared for the wedding but friendly enough. We had...

This is a really great place, the rooms, the food & the staff are all first class. So friendly. I would imagine it is rather busy in the peak season but we like to travel in the quieter months. It is about 15 mins drive to the Bridge over to Skye. We had room 8 with the loch view -...

This is a small friendly hotel in a great location with great staff, the bedroom are large with king size beds and reasonable size bathroom. The food in the bar was very good, and fresh, good selection of food on the breakfast menu.

Our visit was to attend a small wedding at the Plockton Church. The Hotel was easy to find after a long, long drive. Parking was easily found on the road outside the hotel. This is a dream location. The hotel is deceptive with rooms larger than the outside indicates. We had room 09 which was large and very comfortable with...

Great food and friendly service. Crab was nicer than than the other restaurant on the front and cheaper too. Fish and chips delicious and very good value for money. Stunning if the sun shines and you can sit outside.
