Stayed here for a couple of nights while visiting the north coast. The outside of the hotel could do with a lick of paint, but the inside was warm, with very good furnishings. Our room and ensuite bathroom was modern and very clean and comfortable. Food was also very good as was the service. If there is a gold medal...

A warm welcoming hotel is exactly what we aim to be - so thank you for saying just that! You are indeed correct that the outside needs painting however that is due to start as soon as these April showers stop!! We are really pleased that you enjoyed room 18 so much - it's a fabulously spacious room with great...

Neither of us had travelled this far north before, so when the A roads shrank to the width of narrow C roads, ( i'm talking by a sassenachs standard by the way) and the passing places came every few hundred yards, i began to wonder what might be at the end of a very long road! Let me say this,i...

This lovely hotel on the north coast of Scotland is one that you must visit. The accommodation is recently refurbished and has a full bar for residents and one public bar. The rooms are very spacious and have the old furniture from the early days of the hotel. Dinner and breakfast are very good. And the staff is so polite...
