we stopped here for some lunch travelling the NC500. There are not many places to stop along this part of the route and we were very pleased to find this café with nice food. It is fairly small inside with outdoor seating at the back of the building with beautiful views. It was too wet when we visited so no one was sitting outside. The lady who served us was a little harassed as they had been busy. The café is at the side of the largish gift shop, there was no one serving in the shop and no one browsing, if it was my café I would enlarge the café and kitchen and make the shop much smaller. There is a large car park with a notice coaches welcome. There is only 1 ladies and 1 mens toilet plus a disabled so I think it would be difficult for coaches to stop here. I am told there are no disabled toilets between Ullapool and Thurso except this one, but not sure how true this is. This is a lovely part of the world and this nice little café has great potential and could be a gold mine. Hope you don't mind my comments they are meant to be helpful.

Our tour group of 41 stopped for a coffee break at this lovely location. Although small we were served cheerfully and efficiently. My wife chatted with Mrs. Weaver and discovered they were from England and when first moving to this somewhat remote spot received a wary and skeptical eye from the locals. Mrs. Weaver was pleased to report that they were now beginning to be accepted by the community. They have done considerable work to upgrade their business ad we wish them every success.

My wife and I both purchased excellent quality rain jackets at a very attractive price.

We stopped here for a snack, a restroom break and some shopping on our drive from Thurso to Ullapool (as part of our Globus tour). Beautiful views, nice craft shop, clean washrooms and a good place for a snack. Beautiful views of the Kirk of Tongue. I know nothing about the rooms, as we did not stay here.

We supposed by here in a journey along the north coast.
Service of tea, cake and scone was precise and good. The owners were courteous and personable and we enjoyed browsing through the items for sale in the shop.
Well worth dropping in.

Delicious soup and cakes only surpassed by the beautiful view across the Kyle of Tongue which can be enjoyed from the airy, bright and contemporary interior or the outdoor terrace where birds flit around the surrounding garden and wood. It's a dream of a place for visitors to stopover and its success must be a delight for its lucky owners.

Thank you so much for your lovely review of our wee café, Tongue is a great place to live, and a great place for wild life with many birds not seen in the south any more, we also have a pine martin that visits us daily in the back garden, our café was built by us and 2 friends about 2 years ago. Its a joy to see so many people visiting us which makes it all worth the while. Thanks again for your review Anna & Jon.
The Weavers is a small Highland Cafe, Gift Shop and wee B&B. It has fantastic views and can accommodate coaches by appointment. Please note we do not cook food whilst coaches and minibuses are in. The Weavers More is Visit Scotland Tourist shop rated and is Tongues premium Tourist destination. Come and shop, or have a coffee. Less
