This place is awesome. I would definitely recommend this place for a family. Staff are so friendly and helpful. We had a trouble with our room Air-conditioner, but not really a big deal, they provided us a desk fan that suits up to our need. Cameron, the hotel attendant was so courteous and friendly. Breakfast here is good and healthy...

A family member had to be evacuated from one of the islands to Victoria General and I accompanied. We thought the issue would be resolved that day but found out it would be an overnight. I booked at Econolodge because of its proximity. I had no toiletries and only the clothes on my back. But when I got there they...

I must say we were surprised when we entered 167, sitting room, 2 bedrooms, deep tub with shower, and view of the Gorge waterway. Very quiet, so cozy I could have moved in permanently. Staff are helpful and friendly, you really enjoy your stay. The breakfast is basic, toast, cereal, waffles, coffee, and juice. Location is very good, close to...

We have just spent two nights at this motel. The staff were welcoming and pleasant. The hotel is older but it's clean, the beds are comfortable, the pool/area was clean and had an amazing view of the waterway, breakfast was adequate (fruit, bread, waffles, bagels, eggs etc) and the price was very reasonable compared to others in downtown Victoria. We...

We stayed here a couple of nights ago. It is an older hotel but the rooms are clean and very large. We had a kitchenette...stove and fridge. In room coffee and tea. Clean carpets....comfortable beds. Good WIFI....and, a decent breakfast in the morning. What more do you need when travelling through the area. There are excellent walking trails close by,...

When I arrived I found that the hotel did not have any record of my booking which was done through Expedia. Thanks to Mandi, who got me to use the house phone to call up Expedia's customer support, with whom I spent the next hour on the line: Mandi was most patient and helpful as I made my case. The...

The hotel is old but generally well maintained and clean. It is conveniently close to a walking path along the gorge and provides a continental breakfast. For an inexpensive place to stay, it fills the bill. The only problem we had was an intermittent sewer gas smell in the bathroom. Maintenance poured some chemical in the drains but that did...

We stayed here over the May long weekend. It was pretty full, but the staff kept the breakfast area stocked. We were a family of five (three young kids). We called to book and told them we had three kids even though the room said four people, but since our youngest sleeps with us, we thought two queen beds were...

We wanted a quiet spot to rest and rejuvenate. Lovely older hotel but in great shape. Two very comfortable queen size beds in a large room. Continental breakfast from 7-10 with tea & coffee available all day. It is close to Victoria General, they offer family members a special rate which I used four years ago for 10 days. Friendly...

An excellent value for money. Rooms are huge and clean, bed was comfortable. Free wifi and even a breakfast included that didn't have any variety but a bonus to include at such a reasonable price. Even though the hotel was fully booked we didn't hear any noise between rooms, just in the hallway where you could clearly hear conversations and...
