We travel to Jedburgh to visit family once a year so have stayed in all the Hotels in town. We had previously eaten at the Restaurant of this Hotel many years ago before the current owner bought the Hotel, who we met and found was very friendly. The room was lovely, staff friendly and the breakfast more than ample to...

The owner told us he has been there approximately 3 years and is set on a process of refurbishment. He is friendly and welcoming. We had a clean and spacious bedroom with a very nice bathroom. The beautiful old sash windows (shutters still work) need a bit of TLC, the one in our bathroom wouldn't open at all, and the...

I stayed at the Glenbank House Hotel for an anniversary party and the place was just perfect for a Borders hotel. The rooms are roomy and airy, the en-suites are nice and up-to-date (recently refurbished?), the dining room and bar are comfortable, the food is excellent and great value, and as mentioned by almost all other visitors, the hosts -...

We booked this at fairly short notice but we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay if we'd had weeks to plan. The host/proprietor and his staff were attentive but never overbearing, even when I had to admit to completely obliterating a soap dispenser in the shower by catching it with my elbow! The room we stayed in was...

We stayed here recently and were delighted by the service and attention shown to us by Alex,Julia and there staff. All very friendly and only to pleased to help. Found a real treasure in the lady who served us our breakfast!! Unfortunately we didn't get her name. Given lots of advice for things to do and places to see to...

I stayed here recently on a motorcycle trip to Scotland. My room was large, warm, well decorated and equipped with a great bathroom so scored 10 out of 10. Not sue if the owner was a little preoccupied but the breakfast the next day was frankly mean (1 sausage, 1 small rasher of bacon , 1/2 a tomato). Apart from...

Very friendly, very clean rooms. Mine was not a massive room but quiet (always appreciated!) and well appointed - everything I needed. What a very friendly and helpful owner, excellent food as well, both evening and breakfast. Plenty of off road parking. I will book again when in the area on business.
