Amazing historical building. Well worth a visit as a tourist attraction, but staying in it is a memorable experience. The location is in a smaller city, but it is significantly more relaxing and restful than staying in big cities surrounded by people and cars.

We stayed in a suite in the Tower which we highly recommend. The hotel is small but has all the facilities you need. The room was amazing, medieval in style with a big double bed and sitting area with fireplace, well furnished. We had dinner in the restaurant/bar at the base of the tower which was cosy and had a...

Quite hard to find. We went round the Auditorium 3 times until we found the right road (access only). We ended up just in front of the road round to the Parador but the way through was blocked by a large planter clearly they didn't want to to access that way! But now we knew where it was, we went...

Very pleasant male receptionist greeted us on arrival after a tough days walking. Rooms were big, excellent beds & bath....all we needed after a days walking. Lovely garden/reception areas to relax in. Breakfast was self service & plenty to choose from. Would stay here again.

Can you image staying in a medieval tower??? This parador was situated in the part of town where all of the festivities took place. On Sunday morning we walked around the corner of the parador and were amazed to find a livestock market. Then as we approached the next corner we encountered a local band making its way into the...

As expected of a Parador, the accommodation was very good with a spacious room that was well presented on arrival. The in-house restaurant providing a delightful meal but at your own expense. A quality breakfast was provided and the staff were very helpful.

Had a reservation and arrived in town a little before noon. Could not find hotel. My GPS was sending me down a street which was closed for a farmers market. When I ask someone on the street how to get there I was misdirected. Called hotel and was told to try again after 2:00pm. Killed time till 2 and the...

This is a lovely Parador off the beaten track in Galicia and was the 74th Parador we have stayed in. We were given a very warm welcome at reception and shown to our room in the medieval tower. The receptionist was clearly very proud of his Parador and gave us a lovely explanation of its history. We spoke in Spanish...
