Step into a world of timeless elegance and experience this luxurious and perfectly formed boutique hotel and renowned restaurant. Tastefully and elegantly restored in the old style & traditions ensures that Hotel Salvia is one of the grandest nineteenth century mansion houses of Sóller. Each of the lavish and individual bedrooms have magnificent views of the valley, combining all of the style and elegance of a luxury period home with the modern essentials for complete comfort. Having only 7 charming suites makes this a truly stylish boutique Hotel, offering a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere, with a personal and attentive service. Our a la carte restaurant specialises in Mediterranean & Asian Fusion produced by Martin Winkler. Salvia has the unique feature of having one of the largest Pools in the old town set in a magnificent Garden, complete with shaded terraces and lawn in one of the most remarkable mountain settings in the Mediterranean, simply breathtaking.

We have come to like the Garden Room but all are great. The Garden Room is very handy for meals and access to the pool and garden. We have visited in March and October several times now and only had one miss with the weather in March 2018 but it was still a great place to relax.

Our second stay at The Salvia did not disappoint, perfect again. Lovely in the autumn with weather allowing us to enjoy dinner and breakfast on the terrace. It is a real treat to stay here and the perfect place to relax and unwind. The pool was too cold to swim in so perhaps

Having had a wonderful weekend at the Hotel Salvia two years ago, we vowed that we would return. Our second visit proved equally wonderful, and it was heartening to see that the same attention to detail and standards of cleanliness have been maintained. The stunning Soller

Stayed here in August for a week. The location is great and just a short walk to the central square in Soller. It is a small hotel and typically 'old style Spanish'. The restaurant was beautiful set in the gardens of the hotel and very popular. You need to book. Our room was

Stayed here for five nights and enjoyed every minute. The hotel is beautifully decorated in a tasteful and relaxing manner and it is spotlessly clean. It is hidden away in the ancient streets of Soller and yet you are within minutes of the Old Town. The outside areas are

How far is your hotel from the nearest town and beach?
Dear Anna, thank you for your question and the Salvia Hotel & Restaurant is actually located within Soller old town. We are approximately 200 meters from the Main Square and the Train Station. You can easily walk to either from the Hotel. If you have any questions please visit our website and you can email me from our contact form. Kind regards, Patrick

Do you need a hire car or is the tram stop in walking distance?
Hi, the Hotel is located within the town of Soller, tucked away in the old part of town, where the streets are narrow and difficult to find parking. We suggest to Clients who are coming to the Hotel to use Sun Transfers to get to us from the Airport. The Tram connects Soller to Port de Soller only and the Antique Train connects Soller to Palma only. Both the Tram and Train station is located within about 150 meters of the Hotel. Regards, Patrick

Is there any evening entertainment
Dear Jackie W, thank you for the message. The Salvia is a small boutique Hotel with only 7 rooms and 14 guests, for this reason it would not be practical or affordable to offer entertainment. If you are looking for Hotels with evening entertainment I would suggest the larger Hotels in the beach resorts or on the outskirts of Palma. Soller and Port de Soller do not really have such style Hotels. You will find some street entertainment outside some of the restaurants in the Port of Soller. Regards, Patrick

Hello, the Salvia pool is chlorinated (not salt water), as their are only 14 guests in the Hotel, the chlorine input is quite low. The pool is 11 meters in length, which is standard size in the Soller Valley. I think the Jumeriah Hotel Pool is around 15 meters, so may I suggest contacting them. They are located in Port de Soller. Kind regards, Patrick, Hotel Salvia, Soller

Dear David & Georgina, We are currently closed for the winter months, so there is no one on site to answer telephone calls. If you contact us directly by visiting our website we can provide you with room rates and availability. I know the Garden Suite, room 1 is not available, but we do have other options. I await to hear from you. Kind regards, Patrick, Hotel Salvia.
