Authentic Mexican food! Awesome rajas tacos. Also enjoyed the carnitas and the selection of different salsas. Yummy chips, too. Nice staff. Helpful.Inexpensive, fast, not too busy. Lots of good flavors.

Accommodation was reasonable, clean and well presented. The view from the rooms gave a brief glimpse of the port facilities. There is a lift within the building so access to rooms with baggage is okay . Close to a number of reasonable restaurants . The breakfast was rather truncated with limited fair of European limitations.

Only a couple of minutes walk from the town centre and harbour. The Colmena offers a limited number of rooms over a cafe/bar which was popular with the locals for it stands some way from the principal tourist tract.

I have stayed many times at Hotel la Colmena and would never think to go anywhere else. It is well-situated at the corner of the central Plaza, an old...
