Passed this inviting place and decided to pop in for some lunch and what a really welcome surprise. Wednesday afternoon and it was packed out with a great atmosphere and such welcoming staff. Food was great, service was brilliant and food was in front of us in less than 15 minutes. I stayed there for the evening and it was...

I have only eaten in the Horse and Jockey Hotel when driving from Dublin to Cork and it is the perfect place to stop for all sorts of reasons. It is over the half way mark and close to the motorway so easy to exit and rejoin once again. There is plenty of parking in this clearly very popular hotel...

We took this weekend break as I am on recovery from a heart by-pass and a lung removal operation and cabin fever was setting in. I did not want anyplace too demanding, but we did want some facilities available. The room was very nice, large enough and with an excellent bed. The cleanliness was very high standard and there was...

The food in the bar here has a reputation as being fab but unfortunately if you're a coeliac BE CAREFUL!!! We told our server that my mother was a Coeliac and ordered the trout and vegetables with the sauce on the side but were given a dinner by a different server which looked like salmon with a sauce on top.When...

I had a spa treatment and meal here recently. It was a Monday and I could judge its popularity with families from the car park which was crowded. Lots of things going on here and the ambience is pleasant throughout. The masseuse who gave my painful neck and shoulder a massage was the best ever and really worked on those...

We realized that this place was more suited for business trips / conventions. Positives: - Good location as it is very close to M8 - Staff serving breakfast were very friendly and courteous - Great...

Have been to this hotel many times and in general the staff are wonderful, the food is lovely and well priced but service in the bar is always poor and very slow. As a resident of the hotel don't even try to get a drink once the bar is closed, the night porter is uninterested and extremely unfriendly at best...

I had a relaxation spa which included a back massage. It was supposed to last 1 hour but was over in 45 minutes, and was most disappointing. I felt the massage did me no good. I was asked beforehand if I had a particular pain. I replied that my lower 4 to 5 discs were a problem, yet the masseuse...
