Had lunch twice here over Christmas and as usual it was fantastic. I had the beef on the first occasion and steak the second time, absolutely no complaints !!! I tried my wife's Christmas pudding, one of the nicest I've had. The wine here is not to be missed either!

I arrived late on Thursday evening, but the bar and restaurant were a hive of activity. My room was very roomy, bright and comfortable. The ensuite matched the bedroom. Complimentary water (still and fizzy) along with tea and coffe were very welcome. The self-service breakfast was very tastey and with a varied selection. Plenty of cereals, fruit juices to choose...

Hello, I visited the horse and jockey hotel today for birthday celebrations. The whole place was buzzing, but relaxed lots of seats, very friendly staff. I had dinner, can't fault a bit of it, pure lovely, the prices were very reasonable for such a place. A great place to go to treat yourself with family and friends. Great place. Ps...

I stayed overnight in the hotel on a Friday night as was travelling between Dublin and Kenmare and I felt this would be a good halfway point. I got a great deal with the hotel and it's located just off the M8 so it was really handy. All the staff in the hotel are really friendly from the helpful receptionist...

I have stopped here for lunch a few times recently and each time it has been a positive experience. It is only a short distance from the motorway exit. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There are many options for dining - a lovely café-style area with comfortable seating, carvery in bar and take-away bakery.

We ate here on the recommendation of our B&B operator in Thurles. It was a short drive (15 minutes) and an interesting oasis of sophistication in the middle of Irish farm country. We ate in their pub and enjoyed the food and the feel of the place.

We always try and visit here while in Tipperary, it is always busy but the staff are excellent, service is quick and efficient and the food is delicious as are the cakes from their cafe and shop. Definitely worth a visit.

Spent 2 nights here to attend a funeral nearby. Initially booked just one night for a specific room we had before but the day previous to our arrival telephoned to ask if we could come that night also and again asked for specific room. Informed it was all possible and so booked. On arrival we were ignored by the individuals...

Thank You for your review. I was pleased you enjoyed your meal, the service, music and atmosphere of the Horse and Jockey. Regarding the outside noise in your room I am afraid you inadvertently left you window opened during the night. This was spotted by our night porters who do periodical security checks around the hotel and I notice it...
