Both the hospitality and facilities offered in this hotel are fabulous. Akis and his mother went of their way to make sure I was comfortable, not only in their beautiful hotel, but in Nafplio and in my entire visit. I traveled solo and felt extremely comfortable under their generous hospitality and guidance. My room was beautiful with a great balcony...

This hotel is just wonderful - especially if you are able to stay in the Akrokeramo room on the top floor. The room is spacious with a huge balcony and a nice bathroom with a shower with lots of jets. However, the best things about this hotel are Pan (mother) and Akis (son) who run this hotel. Akis is always...

Aetoma Hotel is a gem of a place in Nafplio. A little hard to get to like any place in the town center. Just follow the directions on the hotel website. Park in the little St. Spiridon Square, check in and Akis will park your car for you. Aetoma is a gorgeous home run by Akis and his mom. My...

We picked up our hire car at Athens airport and drove straight to Nafplio. What a delight to be greeted by Akis who parked the car in a very crowded square and carried our bags right to the top of the hotel. Our room, the top floor comprised a very comfortable room and beautiful private roof terrace with stunning view...

I stayed at this little hotel with my husband for two nights. Such a beautiful place, such a beautiful family. Panagiota, Akis, Nicholas and Maria all made sure our stay was memorable. Panagiota serves a wonderful breakfast, perhaps a little too much food...such a shame to go to waste. Akis took time to get to know a little bit about...

I am repeating a lot of what you already have read, but I must also say how amazing our stay at the Aetoma was. From the second we arrived, we were greeted by Akis to help with our bags and to offer us his services. We were so impressed with Akis, the way he was always there for us whenever...

The place is...simply great and I can't do anything better but echoing all other excellent comments about Aetoma Hotel. A cozy, family managed, boutique hotel, centrally located, but quiet and perfect in every details: from the warm welcome, the stylish furniture, the smile in every interaction and the most detailed briefing about the city and places to visit and eat:...

Looking for a criticism of this hotel would be like looking for the needle in the hay-stack. My wife and I had a wonderful stay here and fully agree with the praises heaped on this hotel and the owners by earlier reviewers. The hotel is ideally situated in the old town and is very well placed for excellent restaurants nearby....

My husband and I loved everything about this place! Beautiful family-run hotel with new furnishings. Akis and his mom are both so friendly and kind. They took care of all of our needs and made us feel right at home. Akis even helped guide me through the narrow streets to the parking lot when we accidentally drove to the hotel...

We were simply delighted by the hospitality offered by this small family operated hotel. We were warmly greeted by Akis and helped with parking and luggage and given a very thorough briefing on the area with dining and sight-seeing options. We were celebrating out tenth anniversary and treated very specially with a bottle of their house wine and a nice...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
In Nafplion, a city of magical breeze and unique history, a revamped mansion of the 18th century combines the beauty of the past with the comforts of the present and creates the ideal environment for relaxation and exceptional holidays. The neoclassical luxury appears in each of the 5 hospitable rooms, one of which seems like it slipped silently and took its place in the loft. Visitors feel immediately that they have found both a familiar and unique place. ... more   less
