The hotel is in the middle of everything. Castle, beach, restaurants, cafes. I expected it would be noisy but we slept very well. The room was very clean and cleaned daily. The bath was OK and there was a small fridge in the room. The owners are very friendly and every time the saw us they asked if everything is...

This family run hotel has maybe known better days but the ladies of the house are friendly and welcoming . As the hotel was virtually empty , we were shown different rooms and could take our pick : a double overlooking the quite garden , and a twin with a view of the street and castle. All with a balcony...

it's a family hotel, managed by a very nice and helpful lady! very closer to the sea and some rooms have a beautiful view to the castle! rooms are clean, quite big, with small terraces on Methoni village main street. I love this place and Methoni as well: it's a place out of time!

Castello Methoni is located on the road leading to the beach and opposite a couple of very good tavernas. We spent 3 days there, but eventually moved to another hotel as this time of the year the street below can be quite crowded and noisy till late. Also our room was rather small - not sure about the rest of...

Very nice friendly hotel. Excellent location and very clean rooms - would definitely recommend it. This is also in the same street as some of the best restaurants we have come across in Greece, the one on the corner (which also does takeaway) and the Klimataria (with the garden). Very enjoyable.

clean rooms, no frills, nice balconies. house lies opposite methoni`s main (and only) sight: the old castello- we had a nice view from our room. breakfast costs 5 euros, which is ok (instant coffe or tea, bread, butter, jam, grilled cheese +/- ham sandwich, yoghurt, juice and fruit) and is served in the garden, which we enjoyed a lot. owned...

We have stayed in Hotel Castello Methoni in May 2007. The hotel is very clean, affordable, rooms are very nice overlooking the Venetian ruins of the castle, and the staff very friendly. You will feel like home there. Nothing to complain about. All good experience. We do recomment it. Go and enjoy it. The town is very clean, full of...
