Anniska is a family-run small/medium apartment hotel in the centre of Kardamyli - a short walk from shops & restaurants and right on the sea front.
Our room was large, the bed was huge and comfy, everything was spotlessly clean. We had a basic kitchen and a balcony with a view of the mountains and the sea (all rooms are different though).
Breakfast was good - taken on the terrace overlooking the sea.
Staff were efficient and very friendly and helpful.
Not the usual, ubiquitous, corporate run establishment. Would thoroughly recommend.
Note that Hotel Liakoto is no longer paired with Anniska, so it is not possible to use the facilities there.

This friendly, long established hotel has a shady seafront bar-terrace with a metal ladder down from the rocks so that you can swim in the clear water.
Our room was spacious and comfortable. The balcony, overlooking a quiet street, had views of both the sea and the mountains, with an olive grove and the iconic chimney of the old soap factory in between.
We loved the little welcoming touches, especially the homemade complimentary biscuits.

I loved my stay at this hotel the most out of my 2.5 week trip through the Pelopennese region of Greece. I originally booked 3 nights by extended it to 4 nights because I loved the stay and the area so much. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful with all my needs and questions about the immediate area and beyond. These people really care about their guests. The beach in the front is beautiful for a swim in the morning. Sitting on the deck with a book is so relaxing here. It is alsa a good base for a drive through the Mani Peninsula which I was able to explore by car, then coming back and resting at Anniska. Thank you Soteria and Voula and the rest of the staff for being so welcoming and helpful! It was a very pleasant and memorable stay here!

Apartments as you would expect from a three star hotel. Clean and cozy. Cleaning 2 times a week, but bed was made, trash taken out and dishes done every day! Quiet area.

Sunbeds just outside the hotel, and a lovely stone walk down to the sea. It was perfect for a morning swim!

Kardamily is such a nice quiet town. Good food try “taverna Kastro” for authentic greek food. And “Tikla cuzina” for a culinary experience!

We would definitely come back!

The accommodations were Spartan. The key was a big hassle. We were 2 people traveling together, and they only gave us one old-fashioned metal key, which also operated the power. There was no inside latch, so you had to physically lock yourself in. We had to constantly negotiate who had the key when and it seemed an unnecessary fire hazard. Although I closed the windows, I was awakened by mosquitoes biting my face. The internet did not work, and neither did the in-room safe. They actually called us on the phone--not to resolve any problem, but to complain to US about how dare we be unhappy.
Breakfast was THE WORST. They told me I had to order breakfast in advance, which I did. The evening manager insisted repeatedly that we not come until 8:30 because the girls aren't ready before that. Whatever. Then when we got there at the requested 8:30, we saw a large group of people finishing their sumptuous breakfast, but there was almost nothing left on the buffet. When we complained, they told us we should have come at 8:00, it was our fault somehow for listening to the evening manager, and they insisted on charging us full price for 2 buffet breakfasts.

The room was simple and elegant, spacious, quiet, with a nice balcony next to a garden full of plants. The kitchen is fully equiped and the bathroom is big and clean. What surprized me the most is the high quality of the mattresses, which is not something that I am used to seeing in greek hotels. Great place to relax in beautiful Kardamili.

Hotel Anniska is right on the sea, & the terrace is the kind of place you can just hang out on all day & into the night. We enjoyed relaxing mornings on the terrace checking our email & posting photos, & gorgeous sunsets with our favorite bottle of wine! The staff is first rate, after other Greek hotels we felt that we were very well cared for! Rooms do not face the sea, but do face a lovely little garden area. The area is rocky bt there is a path down to the sea & a ladder to access the water. There are also beach chairs & umbrellas. I believe all rooms have kitchenettes. We got wonderful breakfast rolls from the bakery & a tiny market is a half block away. Our only complaint was the cost of having them do our laundry--it was quite high. Enjoy this delightful little town & wonderful accomodation!

Passed through Kardamili during our tour of the Peleponnese and stayed at Hotel Anniska for one night. Nothing fancy, but it was a clean, comfortable studio suite that included a small kitchen (which we didn't use) and had a great working air conditioner. Just one block from main street with it's lovely shops and restaurants.

The hotel is three seperate building with rooms or self-catering apartments. We had two weeks in one of the apartments in the building behind the main reception/etc building. Well equiped, spacious, very clean great air con - seperate living area and bedroom units. All in all perfect for our two weeks. The hotel has recently installed a new wooden walk-way across the very rocky fore-shore (it isnt in any way a beach) to get easy access into and out of the water. Sea was astoundingly clear and clean with many many fish - really good for basic snorkelling. Anniska could perhaps do with being a bit clearer on what they do or dont do inthe way of lunchtime light meals, so we never did have lunch on the terrace. Great to sit there of an evening with a cool G&T and watch the sun go down, then it was only a4 to 5 min walk to the village square. Really enjoyed the stay at Anniska - great location; great rooms; superb people.

My family (me, my husband and two sons aged 2 and newborn) had a wonderful time at the Anniska. The staff were amazing. They were so kind and looked after us like we were their own family. Our hotel room overlooking the sea had views to die for and plenty of space for us all. It's quite tricky travelling with two such young children but they always made us feel comfortable. Kardamyli itself is probably one of the most charming places I have ever been to in my life. This is really untouched Greece. The restaurants are all incredible. Special mention to Lela's where we ate almost every night. I will dream of those views and that food for some time to come! We used Liakotos pool almost every day and frequently had it pretty much to ourselves. The beaches nearby are stony. We often walked to the beach near Elies - it took about 15 minutes - where the stones were a little smaller and the restaurant amazing. There are closer beaches but the stones are bigger or it's just ladders straight into the sea. Nearby sandy beaches in Stoupa are heavenly but much busier and the town isn't as nice. We didn't hire a car but instead got taxis there - about 10 euro each way. All in all a fantastic holiday and we can't wait to return.
