Great potential but not applied. The view is great, amazing, but you might as well bring a tent, or pay for a hotel ranked not mor than *** stars. Even less. The rooms are outdated (80's). The tv is the size of a shoe box, the bathroom stinks of piss. There is a kitchenette but without anything. I mean anything!...

Be aware- the 3 pools (one big pool which is beautiful) are with salty water- a big disappointment for us.. The room size is o.k but the t.v is a small and old one.. It was funny to see it.. The bath room is with no windows.. A bit smelly.. The kitchenette is a sink and a tiny fridge.. No...

We went there with the belief it is 4-star hotel. We came there at about 3 in the morning and they offered us some snacks in the restaurant. The place looked terrible especially at night. The ceiling is covered with some grey cover. In the morning when we saw the place it looked much better and when you sit outside...

This hotel is set in a very special location on the edge of the Libian sea. It is peaceful, enclosed by rocks and no doubt the best place to stay on the south coast of Crete. It is a paradise for hiking/walking. The options are numerous with organised walks by local guides, walks to local beaches, in both directions, over...

We recently booked a last minute break at this resort and we have to say it was fantastic. This has to be the first resort I have ever been to where the experience was better than the brochure. From the moment we checked in all our cares and stress were left behind. The various places to spread out and sunbathe...

Only one thing stops this getting 5 stars - the thump of the disco every night. But SO many positives more than make up for this - the pools, the food, the narrow inlet from the sea - clear and deep - once a hiding place for pirates. The spa was great - the massage excellent. All the staff were...

Have to look at this place on Google Earth to really appreciate where it is. It is built right into the cliffs above a small rocky inlet a couple of km south of Plakias. Finding the place could be a challenge if you’re in a hire car and you didn’t take the sat-nav option. It might be a good idea...

Dear guest, thank you for your kind comments. As you pointed out, the calypso is located in the southern part of Crete between hanging cliffs and turquoise waters. It is one of the best diving spot of the island and one of the few ones that can also be used during windy days which are common in Crete during the...
